By the way, if you ever wondered, in and around which villa "Pirate Deluxe 11: The Academy" has been shot: It must have been the "Villa Mauresque" in Saint-Raphaël, 1792 Route de la Corniche. I don't know its state in the year 2000, but nowadays this villa belongs to a (not exactly cheap) hotel, see http://www.villa-mauresque-saint-raphael.cote.azur.fr/page_en_1.html or use the Google image search. Even the floor coverings are still the same as in 2000. So, if you want to celebrate the round anniversary of this memorable film in the original ambience, then now book your room there for the year 2025.
