Dear Friends,

It's 4.25am here in London and just about 15 minutes ago I was shocked to read Juhani's message on the Forum about lovely Lea De Mae. You will remember the topic I started for this delightful star not long ago in the Forum.

I have written a letter to various movies stars, producers and studios including "Private" who I believe introduced Lea in Daniella Rush's movie "The Bride Wore Black".  The contents of my letter are as under. Let's do all we can to save Lea De Mae's life.

Dear Friends, Moviestars & Producers, (and please pass this on to your colleagues and other movie companies),

I have only just seen this very serious posting from Juhani (a long-time Forum member in Canada) on Silvia Saint's Forum (please see below) that the lovely and delightful Czech Adult Movie Star Lea De Mae is in a Prague Hospital suffering from a rare brain cancer - which apparently can be positively treated by an operation in Germany or Sweden.
I have no other information on this. Of course, I would like to make a donation to help pay for this operation.

In order to have a worldwide fund, there should be some official announcement posted up with details of the fund and its administration,
receipts, etc. If not already done, this should be done speedily.  I have copied this only to the few people I know, but I am sure others would wish to help including all the movie makers in the USA for whom Lea filmed, Private Studios of course who introduced Lea, I believe, in Daniella Rush's famous movie "The Bride Wore Black" (directed by Englishman Frank Thring), Video Marc Dorcel and others also Lea's co-stars.

We in London once raised a small fund for Daniella after her car accident and Axel Braun and Steve Holmes will remember this (I am afraid I do not have Axel's e-mail address but I am sure he would wish to help Lea too).   This time the amount needed is much much greater so we need as many as possible helping plus the big companies like Private to help save Lea's life. The USA fans on the ADT Site, which Miss Tricia Devereaux is a respected member of, I am sure would help too. There are many more fans in the USA than in London and I trust that they will make a big effort this time.

Please can we have more official information and details from Silvia's former manager, Mr Oldrich Widman in Prague at Dream Entertainment posted up quickly so the fund requests can be spread quickly. Remember the saying set out below and let us all do that good thing now.

Regards, Victor, London. 14th October, 2004.  4.19am.

"Expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that you can do, or any kindness that you can show to any fellow creature, do it now; do not defer or neglect it, for you shall not pass this way again."

Beautiful Lea De Mae  - please help her now.

Dear Friends,

It is now some 10 hours since I found out about this life and death emergency concerning Lea De Mae and I have been writing letters to various parties in Spain, USA and elsewhere overnight, also contacted some London movie fans by 'phone this afternoon.

I would like these messages sent on to Marc Dorcel Studios. Perhaps someone can help me by copying them to that Studio in France, also to Axel Braun at "Elegant Angel" in California.

A short while ago I received a message from Mr Oldrich Widman of Dream Entertainment in the Czech Republic (see below in red) and I have sent Mr Widman a reply as under. This also contains a request to Mr Berth Milton, the founder of "Private" Magazine now based in Spain. Lea De Mae was showcased in the beautiful Double DVD Boxed Set made in honour of Lea about a year ago in "The Private Life of..." series (the first ever set in the series was for Monique Covet - followed by Silvia Saint, second to be released).

Subject: Lea De Mae emergency.

Mr Oldrich Widman,
Dream Entertainment,
The Czech Republic.

Dear Mr Widman,

You are of course known famously over here as Silvia Saint's manager at the time of her busy movie career a few years ago and I believe you recently arranged for Silvia to be the main feature in the recent "Arena" magazine glamour supplement published here in the UK not long ago.

I was shocked to read on the CSS Forum about the lovely and popular Czech star Lea De Mae being hospitalised in Prague suffering from a rare brain cancer - but one that hopefully can be treated by specialists in Germany or Sweden.

In the past, we in London raised a small fund for the elegant Daniella Rush with whom I believe Lea De Mae made her debut for "Private" in the unusual movie "The Bride Wore Black" directed by Englishman Frank Thring (I believe Silvia knows him as Bill Wright or Right and he was associated with Silvia's career of course, as you will know).  The well-known moviestar Steve Holmes assisted us as did the managing director of "Elegant Angel" in the USA, Axel Braun (the son of Lasse Braun  - "King of Porn").

This time, it seems that a huge amount of cash is required for medical expenses to treat Lea. In this country, we have a National Health Service which is free of charge, but there are often long delays for treatment, although normally with life-threatening illness, things move more quickly. Obviously, with Lea's illness, there must be no delay.

I checked on the general Web under Yahoo.com and Google.com, but as yet, there are no postings about this matter that I could find.

I myself have only known about this for less than one day since Silvia's fan, Juhani in Canada mentioned this on the CSS Forum http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  and reporting that this was made known by yourself at the well attended "Barcelona Show" in Prague about 10 days ago.

As it appears a very large amount of cash is required to be raised for Lea's treatment quickly, it is essential that full information is put out in the public domain. Only a limited amount of fans regularly monitor the CSS Forum and worldwide attention is needed here urgently of course. Many fans, especially those in the Eastern European areas are on modest incomes. Hopefully, the fans in the USA and Europe will be able to help more.

Some medical information from the doctors should be put out too or some intention as to treatment, etc, as there may even be a Lea De Mae fan amongst the skilled surgeons or clinic owners who may wish to help in some way?

Meantime, a completely separate new Bank Account should be set up purely designated for the purposes of receiving contributions towards medical support for Lea De Mae and not mixed up with any other existing trading or personal accounts. There should be a resolution about the administration of the account with perhaps several persons responsible for the funds received and payments out or any excess surplus to be returned to contributors, etc. who will be accountable to potential contributors. Hopefully, everyone involved in this fund-raising effort will give their services freely. I have asked the founder of "Private" to try to assist as much as possible (please see below).

When we raised cash for Daniella Rush last year, this was just a small informal thing between a handful of London fans and I sent the cash raised over to one of Steve Holmes's good friends in Prague and Steve then added in a generous contribution of his own and presented it all and another personal gift from London to Daniella in Prague last September in  time for her birthday. This was just as a token of appreciation and support for Daniella after her long ordeal in Hospital and specialist clinic following her injuries in the car accident in the Czech Republic. Even so, I had publicised this a lot on the Web and it was also made known in the USA and received the public support of Axel Braun and Steve Holmes. This cash and gift value was only about $900 in all and Steve reported back that Daniella was very grateful for the thought, but in Lea's case, it is said that $150,000 is required to treat Lea, so things must be conducted formally this time.

For Lea's case, Legal and Chartered Accountants' Advice should be sought in Prague so that everyone worldwide will be happy to make contributions speedily, but there must be proper information and arrangements set out. People cannot be expected to send hundreds or thousands of dollars just from a forum posting by a well-meaning fan.

I am afraid that I am not an Accountant or Lawyer but I would imagine that help could be obtained from the legal departments of some of the large movie companies like "Private" in order to keep down expenses. I have just spoken to the HSBC Bank here in London and they say that the things I have mentioned above are more or less right and also added that with long term medical campaigns here, a Charity is usually set up, however that may take time. With this cursed illness, and believe me I know all about it from my own family, even a day counts, so please try to set up things with legal formalities in place, etc. as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your efforts to help Lea.

Yours sincerely,

Victor in London, UK (member of the CSS Forum)

PS. Attention: Mr Berth Milton, Founder of Private Magazine, Spain.

Dear Mr Milton,

Please can you kindly assist this effort in any way possible to save the life of lovely Lea De Mae.

Lea was memorably introduced to the world by your company, I believe, in Daniella Rush's unusual and superb movie "The Bride Wore Black" on the Private Video De Luxe label, - directed by specialist movie-maker Englishman, Frank Thring.

Lea De Mae 007.jpg The beautiful Czech star, Lea De Mae.

Thank you, Victor, UK.

The beautiful, graceful Czech moviestar, LEA DE MAE - let us help her in her hour of need.

Monday 11 October 2004 Hi to all our friends!

These days are the hardest days for all of us behind the scenes of Pics-and-Models since its birth way back in 2000. One of our most kind and lovely and most beautiful models, Lea De Mae, suddenly got seriously ill this summer. Doctors operated a tumour in her brain in the middle of August. Since the middle of September she gets radio therapy and now also chemo therapy. This one seems to be aggressive. We consult the best doctors for her, and are looking for the best clinics, but at first we have to wait until the end of her current therapy. And then see what happens. The situation looks grim - we're still hoping.

Here are some lines she recently wrote: "hello dear chriss the doctors here doesnt know if they can help me with the czech terapie here for1oo%,so we are trying to ask some another clinics in the world if they can do more. the diagnoze is what i said,it is not mistake.i want be like before, this is terrible. and i am scarry.i want be healthy and do everything like before"

If you happen to have connections to the best doctors or clinics in the world, please inform us! Of course we know that a good therapy might be extremely expensive. For this reason Dream Entertainment, a Czech Company which Lea De Mae works for, just started an eMail campaign (html file) to collect money for her.

However, even if you're not able to help her with money, we thought it may help her when all of you focus your attention on her. If you believe in a higher spirit, please pray; and if you don't, just send your love and the most intensive positive vibrations to her and her sister, who takes care for her in a self-sacrificing manner. Don't let the sun go down on them!

The pictures we wanted to post today will be brought to you another day.

Miracles happen, but sometimes one has to make them happen

In the life of every one of us there are moments when we wish there was a clearly two-coloured world of good and evil, in which magic or miracles could intervene in favour of the good.

Unfortunately, this is just a wish and reflection of nice moments left in our mind by people who loved us and directed us in childhood through fairy tales to be able to appreciate the scarcity of the good and separate it from the evil that is detrimental to everybody.

However, the world and the lives of people at present are directed in many aspects rather at the forces of darkness and evil for unknown reasons than the other way around. Moreover, the fate distributes the measures of luck, pain and love pursuant to a peculiar key, which we have got used to call chance.

Therefore, it is up to us, people, whether we manage to rush to help selflessly through quite a real power without any assistance of magic to those to whom the chance has sent down nothing but misfortune and pain, without the ones concerned deserving it in whatever manner.

Our good friend Lea DeMae (Andrea Absolonova) is one of such people.

And since the saying “thousand times little can become plenty” is quite true, our agency has decided to take part in the battle against evil, which has befell an innocent young person, and we would like to win you for this cause as well.

On behalf of our agency and, at the same time, on behalf of the family of Lea DeMae we would like to appeal to you, dear friends, colleagues and trading partners, with an urgent request for help.

As you may have already heard, Lea suffers from a very serious illness that cannot be cured in the Czech Republic. The only chance there is for her is to undergo a treatment abroad, either in the USA, Germany or Sweden, as soon as possible. However, this treatment is very demanding from the financial point of view and the family cannot afford it. Therefore, we have decided to organize a collection along these lines. The expected cost of the treatment amounts to approximately 130–150 thousand USD.

And since we are aware of the fact that frauds, whose requests for help of various kind invade our post and email boxes, can often be disguised under the guise of such an evident positive thought, we shall be very grateful if you verify any and all particulars of our identification, including our business activities, all out.

Please help make one miracle happen.

We will acclaim any amount whatsoever,

and to those who will help we shall be greatly indebted

Even more urgent!

Dear Friends,

I had no idea that Lea De Mae had been ill since the summer and has already undergone a brain operation plus radio therapy and chemotherapy in September, the latter often a most exhausting and weakening procedure.  The illness is aggressive and extra treatment is required, which is apparently unavailable in the Czech Republic  - please see the information from the www.pics-and-models.com Site published 4 days ago on the 11th October.

We read about new discoveries and things to "turn cancer off" but it seems whenever a loved one is struck down with this illness, the doctors are unable to fight back completely. It's always something for the future still being worked on.

So it's even more urgent than I thought. I implore fans to write to the major studios such as "Private" and "Marc Dorcel"  to seek their help for Lea and I hope the American fans will contact all the Studios in California to support Lea in her hour of real need.

I am hoping to send a donation from London to Prague on Monday, latest Tuesday as I am at Hospital myself on Monday for tests.

Regards, Vic.

Friday 15-10-2004. 7.04am (and I have been up all night writing on Forums and checking out the Web to do with Lea's urgent plight)

Subject: Cash for Lea De Mae

Mr Oldrich Widman,
"Lea De Mae Fund" Coordinator,
The Czech Republic.

Dear Oldrich,

I am anxious to get some cash over to Prague quickly especially since I saw the text on the web pages of www.pics-and-models.com (from where I found the loveliest photos of beautiful Lea when I did a little tribute to her sometime ago on Silvia's Forum) that Lea has been seriously ill since the summer  - we knew nothing about this over here alas. In September, the information mentions, the doctors have treated Lea with radio therapy and chemotherapy, a most unpleasant procedure even for a robust person.

I am very deeply upset by Lea's predicament and I want to send a contribution to Prague quickly. Although of course, I do not know Lea, I feel as if she was a dear friend because of her movie appearances and smiling and radiant countenance. I am sure like other Czech stars, even the most famous of them all as Silvia Saint, that Lea is a kindly modest person - perhaps even surprised about the worldwide adulation she receives!

Urgent: Please let us know the address for postal donations (US Dollar banknotes by Registered/Insured Post is also very easy to do from here).

Also, when I enquired with the local UK bank (HSBC, formerly Midland Bank Plc.), they told me that one further piece of information is needed from you for people wishing to send monies for Lea via Bank Transfer system.  You have given 4 items, which are:-

BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER:    193151744/0300
IBAN :  CZ96 0300 0000 0001 9315 1744
BIC (SWIFT): CEKOCZPP
and the name of the bank in your country:
CSOB a.s,  Moskevska 25, 101 00  Prague 10, EU- Czech Republic

but it is also necessary to give the name of the beneficiary (the person or trust in whose name the account is opened).
Please can you also post this up on the Web, otherwise banks like the HSBC are unable to transfer monies at all for Lea!

I intend to post the donation to your HQ for this foundation (if possible later today), so please publish the address to which postal donations can be made by registered/insured post. This will also help people who are able to send even a small donation and save them money and time having to arrange for and pay bank transference fees.

If you can let me know the postal address to use by return, I will try to get the donation off in today's post. Alternatively, I could send it to Silvia by post to pass on to you for the Fund (if she is willing to receive it).

Please let me know. It's just after midday here in London. I have to go out but will be back at about 2.30pm (in time to obtain US Dollars at the bank and send them off).

Thanks, Victor.

Dear Friends,

I have just received a reply from Mr Widman in Prague and the beneficiary's name for Bank Transfers is:- ANDREA ABSOLONOVA   (i.e. Lea's real name)

I myself would like to have a postal address for mailing cash to as obviously Lea is in hospital and I am writing back hurriedly to Mr Widman to enquire about this.

Mr Oldrich Widman,
Coordinator, Lea De Mae Fund,
Prague,
The Czech Republic,

Dear Oldrich,

I have just got back from the bank and I have a contribution ready to post to Prague this afternoon. This is on behalf of a few London well-wishers I spoke to in town last night who were pleased to help with the effort.

Please let me know to whom and where it should be posted. I am sending it registered/insured via the UK Post Office. Usually, as I wrote before, the addressee has to sign for such an insured packet or envelope and since Lea is unwell in Hospital, I need someone I can address it too, who will be in to receive the packet.

I need to be setting off for the Post Office soon to catch today's last airmail post. Please let me know where it should go. If there is any problem with the address, I can send it instead to Silvia to give to you for the fund (providing Silvia does not mind?). I have Silvia's name and address from when I sent her the four "Arena" magazine packs recently.

I am standing by at home with the envelope which will contain a special card for Lea plus US $1,000 in cash.

I hope to hear from you soonest and then I will complete the packet and take it to the Post Office.

Regards, Victor.  15/10/04  4.16pm.

Dear Friends,

I am sending this card for Lea together with a donation of US $1,000 to the Lea De Mae medical fund from well-wishers here,...

RE: Lea De Mae - her tragic illness

A couple of minutes ago, Lea De Mae's sister just dropped me a line. She writes:

Dear Chris,

I am starting to be confused,
I am reading every day on the Internet about some treatmens and I don't know witch one is the best for Andrea. I am scared that will pick the wrong one!

She is being home now for a weekend. We went to the bank today with Olda to start a new accont for Andrea. I am very surprised how many people care about her and want to send her money for the treatmens.I don't even know how to thanks them. when I told that to Andrea today she was crying.

To, Lucie (Lea De Mae's sister),

Dear Lucie,

I only heard about Lea's illness 2 days ago and ever since I have been on the computer almost round the clock and also into the west end of London to try to get support for this battle to regain Lea's health. I call your dear sister Andrea, "Lea" of course because that is how she is known to us movie fans all around the world.

Today, I got a card for Lea with these words (by Anna Marie Edwards) and inside that card is a donation of US $1,000 towards the Lea De Mae medical fund from a few well-wishers in London I spoke to last night. I am just waiting to hear from Mr Widman the best address to post it to where someone can sign for it as a registered letter packet, then I can post it by airmail in the morning.

"Feel better and know that I'm Thinking of You.

NB. If you see this message and if you and Lea live at the same family address then I can send it there. Mr Widman gave me that address but I wasn't sure if you live there too with Lea. May I send my envelope to that address in Okrajova please?  If so, I can send it in the morning by airmail. It's all ready to go and it should arrive by airmail insured in then Czech Republic by Wednesday perhaps. As I say, I can post it off in the morning (Saturday).

You will see some of my letters and postings about Lea on Silvia Saint's Forum  -  this is at:- http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/   Earlier in the year (when I had no idea that Lea was unwell), I made a little tribute to your sister, which you can see nearby in the Forum. All the postings are viewable without charge or registration. In order to register (to post a message yourself), this is fairly simple and I think it only takes a short time.  The Site co-owner (with Silvia) is Martin Bucek from Slovakia (home) but he now lives in Prague. Martin's office e-mail address is:-  office@internetstudio.sk if there is any problem with Silvia's Forum access.

You will notice your sister's name appearing in several places and she is much beloved to us all here in London, likewise Silvia Saint. I myself had the honour of meeting Silvia in July in London at Heathrow London Airport (please see the topic "Silvia is in London!", which Lea, if she feels up to it, might like to peruse) and of course that was before we knew anything about Lea's illness.

I cannot tell you how upset I have been since I first heard about this just two days ago and I am here to help in any way possible. We must galvanise the whole movie world to join in this battle for Lea's good health again. I have been writing to many fans, movie people and I only had a little information to go on at first until I read this Web Site by Chris Danneffel, which I believe is in Germany?

The beautiful and lovingly-created photos by Chris Danneffel say it all  - how we do all care about Lea and really all this because of her elegant, graceful, lovely and radiant appearances in "Private" movies and the like in recent years. My own favourite photo by Chris is this beautiful one below. It is said that "the eyes are the light of the soul" and Lea has a rare inner beauty that she has kindly shared with and which has delighted the world.

 What a lovely photo!

When I wrote to fans and Studios asking them to help Lea (before I knew of Mr Widman's great efforts), I asked them to do a good thing for Lea and I quoted an adaption of an old saying,...

"Expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that you can do, or any kindness that you can show to any fellow creature, do it now; do not defer or neglect it, for you shall not pass this way again."

I am sure that everyone who knows Lea or knows of her (like us in London) because of her delightful movies and magazine appearances plus all her film colleagues and the famous studios in the USA and Spain, France, etc. will all pull together to do good things for Lea.

Indeed, it's now our turn to give back something to this lovely young lady, who lit up our screens and so gracefully captured our hearts !

Expert Medical Matters:  Here I am afraid, I know little. The team in Prague  -  have they been contacting other leading hospitals and specialists? In the UK, I believe that the leading cancer hospital is the Royal Marsden. The Prague doctors should know who to turn to. You cannot be expected to know about such matters.  The USA is always considered to be very advanced and we often read about things to "turn cancer off" in mice, etc but sometimes this is all a promise for future medical science. The original posting on Silvia's Forum I saw was by Canadian Juhani and he mentioned Germany and Sweden as possibly having new treatments, etc.

[I remember many years ago a friend of mine from Yugoslavia told me that the Yugoslav Airline Company was flying in some medical notes about a little boy with cancer of the blood (leukaemia) and seeking help from British doctors as they did not know how to continue treatment. I and my friend went to the Airport to collect the notes (as my friend knew the plane Captain's family concerned). We took the test results of blood cells, etc to the Royal Marsden and they kindly assisted the Yugoslav doctors directly from London (before the days of the Internet) enabling them to cure the little boy, so I hope that the Prague doctors are similarly seeking help worldwide.]

Lucie, our thoughts are with you and all your family and your dear sister.

Please keep in touch with us all if you can on here at http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=39098&subForumID=813 22 when possible or via Chris. Maybe, you would view Silvia's Site too now and again at http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  I have repeated the addresses for the benefit of viewers.

With love and good wishes from London.
May God bless Lea and keep her safe.

Subject: More Help for Lea De Mae

Dear Chris,

Thank you very much for your message. I am actually just a movie and magazine fan. I do not know Lea at all, although I feel as if she is a dear friend to us all. I would be honoured to be considered a "pen pal" of Lea's one day perhaps when she is feeling better.

I did once memorably meet Lea's friend, the famous Czech movie star "The Golden Girl" herself, Silvia Saint when she was in London for the recent "Arena" magazine photo shoot this July 2004 and Silvia kindly invited me to meet her to say hello and she spent over one hour with me at London Airport (Heathrow).  If you have a moment some time, you will see a topic at Silvia's Forum (run by Martin Bucek in Slovakia & Prague) at http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  and entitled "Silvia is in London!". There are photos there too I took with my own (non-professional) camera, a Leica old style wider lens camera (not digital!). Silvia said she liked them and that they were "cool"!

I also wrote to popular and elegant Czech movie star Daniella Rush, another friend and co-star of both Lea and Silvia's, when Daniella was in Hospital after the serious car accident in summer 2002 and we later sent a little gift of appreciation to Daniella for her birthday last year in September. This was presented to Daniella in person by popular actor Steve Homes (who made a generous contribution) and his good friend Movie Producer Dick Miller (now based in Prague  - Dick's previous USA business became "Metro") in Prague. Daniella was then having to use a wheelchair, but I understand she is able drive and walk around at home, etc. with some support. Silvia met Daniella at a recent Erotic Show in Prague and there is a "Newsletter" from Silvia about that on http://www.clubsilviasaint.net (one of many  - and all of which can be read without charge).

You might recall that Silvia starred with Rocco Siffredi in "Miss Erotica" (just released on DVD by Evil Angel Productions) shot at the Prague Show, I believe, in October 1996. That was the first time we in the UK had ever seen Silvia Saint!  We have still not got over the shock of seeing this gorgeous creature meeting Rocco at the Airport and travelling with him in the big limousine. The Video label had printed on it something like "Silvia Saint vs Rocco". This was said to be when Rocco met his match!  -  a bit like Elvis Presley and lovely red-headed Swedish star Ann Margret, when they co-starred in the musical "Viva Las Vegas" in the 60's (the only time a female star received equal billing with Elvis).

Maybe, when you are in Prague you will be also be able to speak to Silvia and Daniella and take some new casual photos for your Site? The ones you took of Lea in street clothes shown on your Web Site www.pics-and-models.com are really lovely and that one I mentioned (as below), I suspect is the loveliest natural photo ever taken of Lea in all her career!  Everyone who sees it, is captivated by its magic and natural quality!  Even the "Mona Lisa" takes second place!
It has struck me that many of the East European stars are not only charming and lovely but also very good-natured, considerate and modest. Even to the point, it seems to me, of being surprised to be the focus of such adulation from fans around the world.

Lucie's recent message to you confirms this.

I myself noticed this quite a long time ago when a post-retirement Silvia wrote me a letter for the first time (May 2001) in reply to fan letters I sent to "Dream Entertainment" and "Private" saying how proud she was that people all around the world really appreciated her work in the movies and that she was very sorry to get fans disappointed after her retirement from hardcore (after some 5 years) but that she still had in mind a return to glamour modelling (her first love, I suspect) and that there was a little chance that we would see her new photo shoots again maybe and that we should never say never!  In fact, it all came true!  I have even written about this on the Forum and in a previous Forum (please see the topic "..and it all came true!").

Assuming this is O.K. with Oldrich (I take it that "Olda" = Mr Oldrich Widman), I will send my registered airmail packet (greetings card + $1,000 US currency) direct to Lucie's address shown below and I will publish this so that ordinary fans can send along individual donations by registered letterpost (without having to go into banks and arrange for formal Bank Transfers).

NB. All I ask of Oldrich is that it is nice for contributors to be sent a receipt (by e-mail say is easy) and then they feel happy that their cash has been received safely. I know this as I have been involved in a few campaigns on other matters myself and needing to get everyone united to fight their case effectively and sharing the financial burden of legal fees for sols and barristers, etc. when needed, although a lot of work can be done by laypersons themselves by way of preparation.  Fans and well-wishers can also then post cards to that address for Lea which Lucie can take to Lea at the Hospital.

Lea's Birthday is coming up soon on "Boxing Day" as we call it here  - Sunday 26th December so we can send birthday cards to that address too, which again is:-
ANDREA (LEA DE MAE) & LUCIE ABSOLONOVA
Okrajova 9 198 00
Prague 9

CZECH REPUBLIC.

Chris, it would be nice to know a bit about your Web Site.  You are the photographer whose name appears on the beautiful photos of Lea taken, I believe, in 2003?  Are you in Germany?  I wonder where the outdoor photos were actually shot?

Also, if you can post some more up on Silvia's Site too (I have already put several of them there, hoping you would not mind!), you need to just paste them into the message area on the Forum,  - but (and
it took me ages to understand all this!) the photos first need to exist on the Web otherwise they only show as the dreaded "red crosses" in a white square when the posting is displayed by viewers to Silvia's Forum. I am sure that you know all about this. I am hopeless at computers, but Alexander in Russia has a Web Site which also caters for Russian and Chinese fans. With Oldrich's permission, perhaps Alexander (at the "enfant" e-mail address) may be able to make a vertical "thermometer" type indicator to show how the fund is doing with the "mercury" filling up as donations come in. Hopefully, this will give an incentive to get it filled up right to the top!  (US $150,000 mark). Other fans may well be experienced computer graphics experts and may have ideas on some Fund Contributions Indicator.

You mention you present Radio Programmes too?   I have written to www.markiza.sk (the largest commercial TV Station in Slovakia) where Miss Andrea Pirova (the Director of Redactors/Editors) works. Lovely Andrea used to be an amateur model and helped out Wanda Polak Studio where Silvia's first Site was planned. Maybe Andrea or her colleagues on another associated Site could publicise the efforts for Lea. You will see a beautiful photo of Andrea in the CSS Forum. I call it a "Vision in Blue"   -  taken by Wanda Polak. It's the kind of photo I think you would like to have taken!  It's truly stunning and dreamy, I hope you'll have a look!  As I recall, it's under the heading "Lovely Andrea" within the topics on the Forum, on another page to the most recent ones and there is a little button to click on near the bottom of the Forum Index display area to access the other index pages.

Thanks for all your help to Lea and her family and supporters. Thanks very much to Oldrich in Prague.

I hope that at Berlin in a few days time, more cash and pledges can be raised for Lea's medical fund.

Best wishes from cloudy London!
Victor. Saturday 16th October 2004  11.28am.

Hi Victor,
you really seem to be a fan/friend of Lea like I expect one to be who got attracted by her lovely charms. I agree with Olda, whom I was talking with about Lea last summer, that this woman is so much different to most others in the business, because she keeps to be natural and kind, with not a trace of arrogance or anything like that.

Victor, my job (radio announcer) is calling, so I have not much time to answer. Only this: the address you have seems to be OKAY.   ANDREA  & LUCIE ABSOLONOVA Okrajova 9 198 00  Prague 9 Czech Republic.   It is the address of Lucie, but since Lea has been fallen so ill, she either is in the hospital (most of the times) or with her sister.

A vertical "Thermometer" seems to be a good idea. I don't know anyone who is expert enough to create such a thing, but I think it could be taken care for "by hand", too. I'll keep it in mind.
After my job I'll give a contribution in your thread on Silvia's Forum.

Thank you so much and take care Chris ___________________________

Subject: More Help for Lea De Mae

Dear Chris,

Thank you so much. I think you may be in Germany?  The photos you took of Lea De Mae are exquisite  - I am sure the camera loves Lea just it does the "Golden Girl" herself, Silvia Saint. My favourite of those I have seen is this one below,..

This photo is a masterpiece, so simple, so natural  - yet a work of art and beauty. I show this to everyone now and I see people calling their friends over to look at it. Lea's beauty is remarkable  - gentle and radiant with those lovely expressive eyes.

Chris  - for two days and nights I have been doing my best to bring this matter to the attention of friends and movie fans, etc. although I did not know that Mr Widman had already made a great effort. I have not seen his Site even as yet, I have been so busy with letter writing and so on.

Yesterday afternoon, I changed sterling into US $1,000 at the local bank here in west London and I have a card  for Lea ready to be airmailed to The Czech Republic containing this donation and I intend to try to raise more cash, if possible. For two nights, I went to town (in Soho) and I asked at the retail shop owned by the World Champion Snooker Player (Ronnie "The Rocket" O'Sullivan) for help. I spoke to his Manageress and last night also to his young sister at their Lingerie Shop in Soho. Ronnie's family members (his uncles) own several Video/Dvd shops in town. If they help, I will be able to send more cash. Ronnie is called "The Rocket" as he was so young when he started out and very fast on the snooker table potting ball after ball in no time at all. He is perhaps the most talented young player of all time. I am sure he will be sympathetic to Lea's predicament given his family's connections.

BERLIN SHOW:    I understand the next Show will be in Berlin next week.  I hope that Oldrich and others can make plenty of publicity at the Show and maybe collect donations and pledges there and then for Lea's Fund.

From a posting on Silvia's Forum http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  I noticed that this matter was first announced at the recent Barcelona Show (attended by Rocco and Silvia Saint, Rita Faltoyano & cute Katsumi amongst others), but unfortunately we here knew nothing about Lea's predicament in London until a couple of days ago. Since that moment, I have been on the case almost day and night. A friend in town told me last night that I looked a bit worn out with bags under my eyes!  But, this is a battle we must win!

My envelope for Lea. I have this address from Oldrich and I am proposing to send the envelope addressed as under. Will this be O.K. as I haven't heard back from Oldrich as yet? I added Lucie in assuming she is at the same address and would be in when the Postman arrives with the special delivery airmail letter.
ANDREA  & LUCIE ABSOLONOVA
Okrajova 9 198 00
Prague 9

Czech Republic.

Funds received: Another suggestion. Maybe a computer expert could create a vertical "Thermometer" type picture showing the fund target of $150,000 in segments starting at zero, then say $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 etc. and filling up higher and higher as the donations come in. This could be posted up on several sites encouraging people to get more and more of the notches filled in.

I hope to hear soonest about confirmation as to whom and where I should post my envelope containing a card for Lea and one thousand US Dollars in banknotes as a donation for Lea's medical fund.   Best wishes,   Victor. Saturday 16th October 2004  2.33am.

PS. Chris, please will you come on Silvia's Forum http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/ and perhaps post some photos of Lea on there too. Maybe you have extra ones that we have not seen. May I suggest just normal or some tasteful soft type photos but not hardcore. On the contrary, we have seen how lovely Lea looks just dressed casually as above or in photos without highly explicit content.

Hi Victor,   thanks for your kind support. I have passed your eMail on to Lea's sister. We're all hoping that Lea's illness will be stopped. At least it's a good experience to see, how many of her fans and friends stand together and try to help, each one according to his own ability. May this experience give her the hope, the confidence and the power that she needs to withstand her illness!

Early next week I will go to Prague too see her. We'll stay in touch. I'll keep you informed and my website updated.   Your entry in Silvia Saint's forum led us to the idea of creating a similar forum on our www.pics-and-models, which we already realized: http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=39098&subForumID=81322

Feel free to use it in any way you think it's positive for Lea.

Bye for now & best regards Chris

Dear Friends of Lea De Mae at www.pics-and-models.com

I write from London. I have only just found out about Lea's illness after seeing a posting on the fan Forum at Silvia Saint's Site at  http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  yesterday. Since then, I have been writing to friends and others seeking support for Lea and I myself will be sending a donation from London to the Czech Republic very soon.
On the above mentioned Forum, you will see various postings in support of Lea, who if I may say so is a most beautiful, elegant and graceful model and movie star with a gentle way and lovely smiling eyes and sunny personality, as shown in the many photos on your Site and in her happy movie appearances, such as in "The Academy" (with Silvia Saint and Daniella Rush).   I am sure that everyone will do a good deed in some way in Lea's hour of need and fulfil this saying,...
"Expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that you can do, or any kindness that you can show to any fellow creature, do it now; do not defer or neglect it, for you shall not pass this way again."

Please send Lea all our best wishes with our thoughts and  with love from London fans. We will be in touch again.

May God bless Lea and keep her safe.

Regards and thank you, Victor, London, UK.

Hello Vic,

you're a really extremely busy helper and of course one of those who deserve the attribute "Lea's true fan & friend". As Lea herself is currently not able to surf through the internet, I will print this all out and take it with me when I go to Prague next week. By the way, the internet connection of Lucie is so bad, that the only way for her to get my written messages is via internet café. I hope I can change this situation to a better one when I'm there.

Whenever I see Silvie or Daniela, I will of course ask them if I may take some pics. Actually Lea and I wanted to visit Daniela late last summer, but I had to leave for Germany. Lea told me about her accident, but I haven't met Daniela so far.

You really picked a nice one of my photos of Lea. I like it too. And she does also. When you have a woman like her in front of your camera, you don't need to be a good photographer. Only let your eyes be dominated by your soul. This shot was done quickly after we've got acquainted to each other in July 2003 in Prague. Nearby her former apartment, where shortly before a PRIVATE Team interviewed her for "THE PRIVATE LIFE OF ...".

As I told also Juhani I live in Germany and I don't have anything to do with the issue of Olda's Lea De Mae fund. I hope that he gets rid of the troubles and that everything works more smoothly in the future.

My best regards
Chris

PS. There may well be other ways of posting contributions such as by Amex or International Money Orders, Bank Drafts, etc.  - but I am not familiar with these methods and some countries may offer different services to each other. Hi Victor,

Lucie just sent me an eMail, I thought you would like to read it:

"I am reading all the messages to my sister and she is very happy for every one. She is also sad that she can't respond to them and she asked me to write a letter about her, her health and her feelings.
I will put it together and send it you as soon I can.
The biggest kiss from Andrea and her little sister!"

Sad News..Lovely Lea DeMae in Prague- Hospital
Permalink

From Rita's Forum:-  www.faltoyano.com

Please write your impressions, suggestions, questions or ideas about the website into my guestbook.

422: Vic (London)>>Lea De Mae - very ill in Prague 2004.10.20. 11:31

Dear Fernando,

Thank you very much for your message. I hope that magnificent Rita will use her goodwill and influence to help the lovely Lea De Mae now laying very ill in Prague Hospital with a rare brain cancer which the Czech team of doctors cannot treat 100% and need outside specialist help from America, Germany or Sweden.

Fernando, please can you check out these two Sites:-  http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=39098&subForumID=81322 and the CSS Forum at http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/

On the second Site mentioned above, please see the topic that starts off "Sad news...." in particular.

There is also a topic "Lovely To Look At" and please see the last two postings on that one.

I expect Rita (who won another Award at Barcelona very recently) will be appearing at the Berlin Festival 21st - 24th October 2004.

I hope that everyone who visits or exhibits there will help support the medical treatment fund for Lea started by Odlrich Widman, who managed Silvia Saint for many years and recently also arranged for Silvia's 8-page photoshoot in the "Arena" magazine in London (that's the time I met Silvia at London Airport and she was so generous with her time - I wrote about all that in the topic "Silvia is in London!" on the same CSS Forum, where it has received over 6½ thousand viewings to date).

Thank you for your kind interest Fernando.

NB. If you would care to make a small contribution to the fund, you will find all the contact details on the CSS Forum as well in a separate topic about contact for donations. Myself and a few London supporters sent US $1,000 to Lea (c/o of her sister Lucie's home in Prague) on Monday by registered/insured letterpost and I am trying to raise more.

Oldrich Widman has, I understand, written to almost all the European and American Studios. I hope they will respond generously to help save the life of this lovely Czech star who lit up her screens with her grace and stunning beauty (see for instance Lea's debut in movies dressed in red in Daniella Rush's famous movie "The Bride Wore Black" (Pirate Video De Luxe) - directed by the well-known English movie director, Frank Thring.

Regards from London,
Vic. 20th October 2004 10.28am.

21st-24th October 2004
Berlin Erotic Festival
Berlin, Germany

Rita is appearing at the above Festival and I do hope that everyone attending this Festival including traders, famous studios and fans will be made fully aware of the plight of lovely Czech star Lea De Mae now laying in Hospital in Prague with a rare Brain Cancer.

Lea requiries very urgent treatment from specialists in America, Germany or Sweden - as the Czech Doctors alone cannot deal with this aggressive form of the illness.

Please help Lea De Mae as much as you can - please see more details at the CSS Forum http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/
also at the German Site www.pics-and-models.com and of how you can help Lea in this life and death emergency.

Please do not forget this lovely model who lit up our screens in many European for "Private" "Video Marc Dorcel" "Blue One" movies as well as in numerous USA productions and help her in her hour of need!

This help is needed NOW! - please.

Thank you:
Vic, London.
Movie Fan of Hungarian & Czech stars.

PS. London fans have raised US Dollars value of $1,000 in one evening and it is being airmailed to Lea's family in the morning by Insured Airmail post. We are sending more too very soon.

Ever since we've wrote about Lea's illness on our website www.pics-and-models.com, many worried fans and friends have sent us eMails to express their feelings and their willingness to help.

As we believe that there might be a need for having a place where we all - her friends and fans - can come together and share our current thoughts and feelings with others, we have created this little forum.

Please feel free to use it and thus increasing our hope and our confidence and the power of Lea De Mae to withstand her tragic illness.

Hello there,

I saw your call for help for Lea De Mae. I may have some hope, and help, for her.

I’ll get right to the point: There is an experimental drug called “artemisinin.” It is quite powerful against aggressive cancers, and is able to get beyond the blood/brain barrier to attack brain cancers and tumors.

The drug uses the iron inside a cell. When artemisinin finds iron, it releases free-radicals in the cell. Healthy cells don’t have much iron in them, but cancer cells have *hundreds* of times more iron than healthy cells. This allows this drug to specifically target cancer cells for destruction, while leaving healthy cells mostly unharmed.

I created a website to explain artemisinin and how it works inside the body. Please look it over. It’s ready to print out and hand to her doctor, and has many links for Lea De Mae, her family, and her doctor to read and gain more information. Also, there is a 3D animation to show her how the drug works (even though it’s not finished – no sound):
http://www.deepfrost.com/artemisinin

The drug was discovered by Dr. Narendra Singh from the University of Washington here in Seattle, Washington. Here is Dr. Singh’s website with contact information, including phone number and mail: http://depts.washington.edu/bioe/people/singh.shtml

On a personal note, someone who was very close to me was diagnosed with leukemia. She took three rounds of artemisinin, along with her existing chemotherapy. It worked. She is now cured of leukemia, and has moved on with her life, even being allowed by the courts to adopt a baby boy and fulfill her dream of being a mommy.

I do wish Lea De Mae the very, very best. There is much hope for her, and a future just waiting for her to embrace. If Lea De Mae wants to talk to me about this drug, or wants to be in contact with my friend who was treated with this drug, please give her my email address [royha@deepfrost.com].

Sincerely,

-- Roy Harper [royha@deepfrost.com]

A couple of minutes ago, Lea De Mae's sister just dropped me a line. She writes:

Dear Chris,

I am starting to be confused, I am reading every day on the Internet about some treatmens and I don't know witch one is the best for Andrea.

Quote | ReplyA Message to Lucie (Lea's sister)

Life isn't always easy, and no one knows that better than you. You have been given a difficult situation, but I know you'll make it through this with the same grace and dignity that I have come to know and admire about you...

It's not always possible to understand why life works the way it does, but I know that you've never been one to sit back and let the world pass you by. You are an inspiration to so many; perhaps you have been given this challenge so that others may learn from your example.

I hope there are bright days ahead for you and that you will make it through this time with strength and with awareness of the special place you hold in the hearts of all those whose lives you have touched.

Take care and Know That You Are in My Thoughts."

You will see all some of my letters and postings about Lea on Silvia Saint's Forum  - this is at: http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/   Earlier in the year (when I had no idea that Lea was unwell), I made a little tribute to your sister, which you can see nearby in the Forum. All the postings are viewable without charge or registration. In order to register, this is fairly simple and I think it only takes a short time. I myself had the honour of meeting Silvia in July in London at Heathrow London Airport (please see the topic "Silvia is in London!", which Lea if she feels up to it might like to peruse) and of course that was before we knew anything about Lea's illness.

I cannot tell you how upset I have been since I first heard about this just two days ago and I am here to help in any way possible. We must galvanise the whole movie world to join in this battle for good health again.

I
am sure that everyone one who knows Lea or knows of her (like us in London) because of her delightful movies and magazine appearances plus all her film colleagues and the famous studios in the USA and Spain, France, etc. will all pull together to do good things for Lea.

[I remember many years ago a friend of mine from Yugoslavia told me that the Yugoslav Airline Company was flying in some medical notes about a little boy with cancer of the blood (leukemia) and seeking help from British doctors as they did not know how to continue treatment.

Please keep in touch with us all if you can on here at
http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=39098&subForumID=813 22 when possible or via Chris. Maybe, you would view Silvia's Site too now and again at http://forum.clubsilviasaint.net/  I have repeated the addresses for the benefit of viewers.

With love and good wishes from London.
May God bless Lea and keep her safe.

Dear Chris, Roy, Juhani, Silvia and all visiting this Site,

Thank you very much Chris for helping Lea De Mae by your support on your Web Site www.pics-and-models.com  and also for creating this new special Forum.

As I have written on several Sites, I  think your informal photos of Lea looking so natural are very nice indeed. Your photo where Lea is looking slightly away (as displayed in my first post) is lovely and Lea's face and pretty blue eyes are radiant. I hear that Lea also likes that shot you took in Prague last year and rightly too!

I wish you a safe journey today to the Czech Republic and maybe you'll even be seeing Lea at the Hospital in Prague tomorrow.

When you are in Prague, if time allows, I hope that you can also manage to meet Lea's friends and movie colleagues - the "Golden Girl" herself Silvia Saint and the elegant, popular and plucky Daniella Rush.  As we know, Daniella herself bravely endured one year's hospitalisation after her serious injuries in a car accident in summer 2002.

I believe Daniella and Oldrich Widman visited Lea recently and Oldrich and Silvia saw Lea just the other day.

Thank you Juhani in Canada for the nice poem and kind thoughts for Lea. I remember you also wrote lovely words for Daniella in the past.

Thank you Roy for your important medical references, which I trust Lea's team of doctors will look into.

Thank you Silvia for your information and also the kind words for all Lea's well-wishers, which are much appreciated.

I hope that at tomorrow's Berlin Festival (lasting 4 days), there will be efforts to raise cash for Lea's further medical treatment by specialists in the USA or wherever Lea can be additionally helped. One importer I know in London is flying out to Berlin very soon and I telephoned him to ask him to try to make sure this matter is raised as much as possible on the Trade Only day (that's the day when "the girls" are not there - apparently, they only attend for the public days!).

I hope that my registered package from London will arrive soon in Prague with 3 cards and a donation of US Dollars $1,000 for the medical fund which was started by Oldrich Widman. I am trying to raise more cash to send from here. Several fans have also written to me wanting to make a contribution too and I have given them the required information which I set out again below at the foot of this message, so they can send their donations directly to Prague to save time.

Should you see this message Lea, please hang in there and we shall do everything we can to help support you fight back and regain your health.

From the UK, we send all our best wishes to you and yours.

Our thoughts are with Lea, Lucie and their mother each day.
May God bless Lea and keep her safe.

Goodnight from London.

Best wishes,
Victor. Wednesday 20th October 2004.  11.50pm.
