hi friends... i have some AVI format movies which i want to split the scenes in different parts. i just want to have the silvia saint part from the whole movie. for this reason i need a software which can cut AVI format videos.
can you gyes please help me on this thing? do u know any free sfotware by which i can cut AVI videos. please upload the software and give me the link.
I use VirtualDub to split AVI scenes, provided it uses constant bitrate (CBR) audio. Great bit of freeware that allows you to do lots of clever tricks (e.g. resize, crop, transcode, resynch video/audio, etc).
If the AVI uses variable bitrate audio, there is a less well-known variant of this called NanDub, but I can't get that to transcode. However it works fine in direct stream mode although this cuts scenes at the nearest key frames, which may give you a few frames of previous and following scenes.
