Many thanks Adam for these 'difficult to find' sets.
An information for you : Crypt-it is fine, but you don't really protect your links with this one. When you click to download, the original Rapidshare adress is written in the taskbar a few seconds. Enough for a copy & paste ! You could try DLCcontainer with JDownloader if you want a real masked adress
DLC containers encrypt your links to prevent robots and spiders tracking them back to RS and flagging them as illegal.
DLC relies on JDownloader, which is an excellent Java-based download manager for premium file sharing sites. It is programmed to understand how RS, EasyShare, Netload, etc work, verifies links are active before downloading anything, and intelligently manages your downloads.
Well worth having even without encrypted links.
Go to www.jdownloader.org for more info. I recommend this to everyone.
Sainto explained me this stuff and i tried jDownloader yesterday with a DLCcontainer found on another forum.
The problem is, i don't have confidence in these free tools, because you need to give your rapidshare numbers if you want to use your premium account. And you have no guarantee that these accounts numbers willl stay confidential.
I noticed a link in JDownlader menu to a site, where you can find for free, some premium accounts... Where do these accounts come from ?
I admit I shared the same concern about password security when I started using JDownloader, but after a few months of using it I have no evidence of any problems. If really paranoid, you can always change passwords before and after using it. Or use it in non-premium mode and leave it to download a queue of files overnight.
