NEWSFLASH!

Last night in London for the first time, Hustler's new original USA DVD was on display called "Hustler Centrefolds Volume #2 Lea De Mae" with a very striking picture of the late Lea De Mae on the front cover, also starring Lea's best friend Monica Sweetheart plus four other models Boo, Isabella, Chrissy and Mia Smiles. The October 2004 issue of "Hustler" Magazine with Lea again on the front cover is displayed on the DVD Box cover too!

There was only 1 copy in the west end store, which I got!  I had no idea it was out. Hustler, who kindly offered to help Lea, said that they were hoping to bring a DVD out at the time. I am so pleased to see this lovely DVD box.

hence our disbelief when "Private" ignored all pleas to help Lea when she was so very ill last year, when they failed to make that moral gesture.

Lovely Le De Mae is now at a very critical stage in her brave battle against the brain cancer that has its cruel grip on her gentle person. AdvertisementAdvertisement   YOUR SOURCE FOR NEWS, GOSSIP, REVIEWS AND MORE!                 

Lea is very poorly in Prague having undergone brain surgery, radio therapy, chemotherapy and is unable to talk to her friends (including Monica Sweetheart and Silvia Saint who are visiting her) and is in severe pain in her head and back. The doctors cannot control the pain at the moment.

Recently, we appealed to Larry Flynt, The President of "HUSTLER" USA and he has very kindly agreed to help with medical treatment costs if Lea can get further medical help abroad, as her Czech doctors are perplexed how to deal with this aggressive illness.

However, we have received no word whatsoever from Lea's main Studio "PRIVATE" despite repeated appeals for financial assistance for Lea in her hour of need made directly to Berth Milton (the founder of "Private" 39 years ago in Sweden).

Further specialist medical treatment abroad could cost up to $150,000.

Some cash is coming in from all over the world from caring fans and well-wishers, while as far as I know, "Private" maintains its silence.

Lea must have earned that company at least 30 million dollars, with all her many movie appearances and magazine shoots. Private sell 70,000 DVDs, Videos and mags eevery week in over 35 countries! Their "TRIPLE X -54" magazine first issued last summer devotes no less than 24 pages to Lea De Mae proclaiming that she is "a Godsend".

You will remember recently when Rita and Katsumi and others were treated in a disgraceful manner, and thrown into a filthy lice-ridden jailhouse in Mexico and Rita broke her hand fighting with corrupt officials - "Private" were contacted by one of Rita's producer friends seeking help from the company for Rita. Apparently, "Private" were quite unconcerned and ready to hire someone else if Rita failed to appear for her next appointment!

As for Lea, on hearing that she was desperately ill, it is said that "Private" commented:-

"She's just a (one) girl - there are stars enough" and declined to offer any assistance.

If I am wrong about the above, no doubt "Private" will make an immediate announcement and confirm that we are wrong and that they are indeed prepared to contribute to Lea's medical fund to try to save her life.

NB. In the summer of 2002, Daniella suffered a serious car accident ending her movie career.

In the summer of 2004, Lea became unwell and after too much suffering, bravely endured, she passed away in hospital in the Czech Republic on Thursday 9th December 2004.

Looking at the happy photos above, how could anyone have imagined what lay ahead?  Why is it that sometimes fate can be so cruel? 

Daniella was very brave and strong in spirit and is now (or is about) to be a Doctor despite her leg injuries which still require her to use a wheelchair, but she is able to drive. 

Lea is gone but she is loved now more than ever. Her glorious and vivid memory lives on.

Every photo, every movie clip is a treasure. As Lea's best friend Monica Sweetheart said:-

"I can't even express by words how much I am missing her. She stays in my heart forever"

Dear Friends,

Later on, I would like to compile a List of all Lea De Mae's movies.  Like Silvia Saint, Lea De Mae worked for a number of European Studios over the years but also made lots of movies for USA Studios too. I am not so familiar with the American titles however.

I made a list for Silvia Saint's movies some time ago and with help from her movie fans in the USA and other countries, we now have some 420 titles on the List.

I also helped with German star Katja Kassin's movies list, which now totals 192 titles to date.  NB. It was because of Silvia that Katja was inspired to join the movies  - especially after seeing Silvia's movie "The Academy" (in which Daniella Rush and Lea De Mae appeared plus Lexington Steele, the delightful Sandra Russo, the lovely young Monica Sweetheart and the "lecherous" director/performer Englishman Frank Thring amongst others).

Perhaps one or two of you will give me a hand when the time comes in checking the list for Lea and finding any I've missed, etc.
