Hello Spike,

I play sometimes with Picasa or Photoshop to correct contrast or colours, but i think the results are rarely good and your 'variant' set confirms my opinion. It's very hard to find the good ajustment and dark background makes the corrections very difficult.

I made test myself. If you adjust the levels instead of contrast, you can recover the original flashy red, without modifying the background :

I agree your modification is better.

My attempts made the background a bit blocky now that I look at them. My excuse is that I wasn't concentrating on the background! wink

Yep, it's clear background is not the most important here

but even with my solution, i can avoid a perturbing halo all around silvia's face and the guitar.

If you consider, as i do, that her hair is a very important part of silvia's charm, then you can't be satisfied by this try !!

So, i would be happy if a real photoshop specialist manage to do something with these pictures !!!

Almost the end of my updates...

Today, set 426 - 33 pics

One more time, it was a difficult one : i chose to kill pics 3,20,21 & 23 of the catalog, added 5 new pics, and replaced 5 with better quality and, humm... i... renumbered all the set...

For the 3rd pic, i think i recognize Sean Michaels with Silvia, but i can't find a picture set in the catalog with this background.

I've made it! I've sorted the most of my pictures to venizelos' sets.

That's the link for two sets, which are missing in the cataloge (thanks to adam for his help)

and

no.2 is from the movie hot legs (3 pics of these are in the set "misc", number 048, 049 and 049a)

I hope they will find a new place in the cataloge!
