Dear Frinds: this is my first topic, and I hope not the last!!! I'm Fira, from Barcelona, Spain.


There's a question on my mind since Silvia returned back from her retirement. I see her face a bit different. She's still one of the most beautiful women on earth, but I have to ask if anybody (Victor, Juhani maybe know for sure) knows if Silvia has gone under any facial surgery. In case the answer is yes... WHY??? If there's any woman who doesn't need any facial surgery... its our SILVIA!!!  If it's only my imagination... SILVIA: NEVER GO INTO ANY ESTHETIC SURGERY, PLEASE.

Soy Fira, desde Barcelona, España.


Tengo una pregunta en la cabeza que me ronda desde que Silvia volvió de su retiro del 2000. Me da la sensación que su cara ha cambiado. Sigue siendo una de las mujeres más guapas del planeta, pero tengo que preguntar (quizá Victor o Juahni lo sepan con certeza) si alguien sabe si realmente se ha hecho la cirugía estética.


Si la respuesta es sí... POR QUÉ?? Si hay una mujer en el mundo que no la necesita, esa es nuestra Silvia!!! Si es sólo mi imaginación...SILVIA, NO PASES NUNCA POR EL CIRUJANO PLÁSTICO, POR FAVOR.


Pido disculpas si esta cuestión ha sido tratada con anterioridad en algún post. Este texto está en inglés justo encima.

Dear Fira,

Greetings from London!

When I met Silvia last summer in London at the Airport, she looked very fresh (even after a hard day's photoshoot!) and actually with her little white cap on and little make-up, she looked almost like a student of 19 years old!

I myself like Silvia without the heavier eye make-up we sometimes used to see when she was in the later USA Studio movies.

Silvia never looked lovelier than when she was in "Dangerous Things" a few years ago (in which the beloved late Czech star, Lea De Mae also appeared).

I do not know the answer to your question. When Silvia started out, she may have had a little baby fat around the face and was chubbier in the cheeks, so this may look different as she lost this. Also her make-up changes from time to time. I know Silvia's chubby cheeks looked nice too - like a babyface!

I think Elvis Presley had his nose slightly refined maybe twice but he was also striking in looks at most any time of his career. Sometimes he looked quite chubby in the cheeks and other times much thinner in the face as his weight and hairstyle, etc. fluctuated. I think Elvis looked nice in "King Creole" (pre-Army) and exceptionally smartly turned out in "It Happened At The World's Fair" (post Army) and before that in "Wild In The Country" where he gave an excellent acting performance too. Elvis was quite chubby in "Follow That Dream"! - a good film too and similarly slightly heavy for the Boxing movie "Kid Galahad". Then, he looked very slim for the TV "comeback" show in 1968 (almost like he looked in 1958 for "King Creole") - so there are so many looks!

Saludos desde London!

Cuando concí a Silvia el pasado verano en el aeropuerto tenía una cara estupenda (y eso que venía de una sesión de fotos), e incluso con su gorra y un poquito de maquillaje realmente parecía una estudiante de 19 años!!!

Personalmente prefiero a Silvia sin el maquillaje tan exagerado que le ponían en su época americana antes del retiro.

Creo que unca ha estado tan guapa como en "Dangerous Things", del hace unos años, dónde también aarecia nuestra querida Lea de Mae (RIP)



La verdad es que no tengo la respuesta a tu pregunta. Cuando empezó, tenía la cara más gordita y unos mofletes más voluminosos, quizá si ahora está más delgada los haya perdido. También cambia su maquillaje cada cierto tiempo... Creo que sus mofletes eran adorables... tenía un aspecto más aniñado!!!

Creo que Elvis Presley se retocó su nariz un par de veces pero simpre tuvo el mismo aspecto durante toda su larga carrera.A veces tenía mofletes y otras veces estaba más estilizado, más delgado, con otro peinado. Según la época.Creo que estaba impresionante en "King Creole" (antes del servicio militar) y extremadamente estilizado en "It Happened At The World's Fair" (después del servicio militar) y antes de "Wild In The Country" dónde estaba genial como actor. Elvis estaba más gordito en "Follow That Dream"! - una buena película en la que aparece casi igual que en la película de boxeo "Kid Galahad". Entonces, se adelgazó para su retorno televisivo en 1968 (casi como en 1958 parang Creole") - así que hay diferentes aspecto!!
