Visits to Lea's last resting-place on the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh & Eighth Anniversaries.

Dear Friends,

Pavel very kindly sent me these three photos (below) taken on his mobile phone on his visit to Lea's final resting place on Wednesday 9th December 2009 to lay flowers and a card for Lea (Andrea).

The A4 size picture which can be seen in the pictures laying on the marble and under the small red vase is a print of the memorial scroll and candles picture that is posted up on the Forum and as shown again underneath the three pictures taken by Pavel on the 9th.

May we express all our many thanks to Pavel for representing us at the graveside to remember Lea (Andrea) last week on the Fifth Anniversary of her passing away.

Pavel said that the weather was bleak and that he was the only person in the cemetry - so of all the people laid to rest there, at least our own lovely Lea (Andrea) was represented that day.

The "Memorial Scroll and Candles" picture:

InLovingMemory.Xat.jpg

When you're walking down the street
And you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind

And when you feel that gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory
Remember me

Dear Pavel,

I wonder if you will be visiting Lea's resting-place again by any chance later this year?

I would like to send some cash to the Czech Republic towards flowers for the next anniversary.

Please contact me if possible.

Kind regards, Vic.  2 Nov '10.

I am very pleased to have heard from Michael in the UK with his kind offer to also contribute US $50 towards the next floral anniversary remembrance at Lea's graveside. Michael also mentioned that he may be visiting the Czech Republic in the future.

Pavel to visit graveside for the Sixth Anniversary to lay flowers & cards for us all.

Dear Friends and Admirers of Lea (Andrea),

I have just heard from Pavel in the Czech Republic that he will be visiting Lea's last resting-place again this year for the Sixth Anniversary since Lea left this world (9th December 2004).

We have so far received pledges of US $100 for a contribution to Pavel for flowers and cards, etc on behalf of us all to remember Lea again at this time.

Meantime, Angostura (a member of Lea's own site) has visited the graveside on 11th November 2010 and kindly posted up photos on Lea's site. You can still see the memorial wallpaper "In Loving Memory" that Pavel very kindly placed there last year (with Lea's lovely eyes looking out at us!).

Please see at:

http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=39098&p=3&topicID=4719326

and the very good quality photos as displayed below,..

*Sorry but Pavel's photos seem to have been lost. These were photos 14.jpg, 15.jpg, 16.jpg & 17.jpg

(note added on 14 June 2020)

I have just sent Pavel a new memorial wallpaper for the "Sixth Anniversary" based on one of Chris Danneffel's beautiful photos of Lea taken in Prague in Autumn 2003 near Lea's apartment (with Lea in a purple check shirt).

Thanks very much again to all those helping to keep lovely Lea's memory alive.

Just to clarify, there are two different Forum members named Pavel in the Czech Republic.

The Pavel who visited Lea's resting-place is the Pavel from Lea's own site (Chris Danneffel's site), whereas the Pavel on Silvia's former CSS Site is this Forum's member.

"Sixth Anniversary" Memorial Picture for the grave at Dablice.

Dear Friends & Admirers of Lea (Andrea),

This is a copy of the "Sixth Anniversary" memorial picture (which was approved by Chris Danneffel who took the original outdoor photo out of which I have extracted the close-up of Lea).

I have sent a higher quality file of this to Pavel in the Czech Republic to kindly print out and place at Lea's resting-place on his next visit to Dablice later on this year to pay his respects and lay flowers at Lea's graveside on behalf of us all.

I hope that you like it.

Once again, deepest thanks to Angostura (I think known to us as Marek in Poland) for his kind visit and flowers and new photographs taken on 11th November 2010 in remembrance of lovely Lea (Andrea)  - our own "Blue Eyes".

Loved Andrejka, althogh I didn't meet you, I feel like I've known you all my life, because there's some magic coming from the words of all those, who have known you.
Not even 6 years after your passing avay I can't go with it, I still can't understand the sence of the torturing pain you had to go through. I still have tears in my eyes facing the cold reality. I wish to see you as soon as posible. Thanks to all those running the pages, sending their words and helping to all of us to bridge over this life since we can folow you.
With love.

Dear Friends,

Pavel visited Lea's last resting-place at Dablice Cemetery in very cold and snowbound conditions on 9th December 2010, the Sixth Anniversary of the passing away of Lea (Andrea).  Please see below some of the photos taken by Pavel also some words from Michael and Pavel and also the dedication words on the "ribbon" attached to the bouquet of flowers.

Michael wrote:-

Here follows a stanza or two from a poem by Oscar Wilde some verses are apt for Andrea the lovely golden girl:

Tread softly she is near..under the snow
Speak gently she can hear the daisies grow
All her bright golden hair tarnished with rust
She that was young and fair fallen to dust

Peace, peace, she cannot hear
Lyre or sonnet,
All my life's buried here,
Heap earth upon it

Pavel's E-Mail about his visit to Dablice Cemetery on 9 Dec 2010

"I just came home and lit the candles for Andrea. Against all odds, I had to spend major part of the day at work. You know cursed my boss !  Luckily I saved everything I needed to. Approx. at 1 p.m. I arrived at flower shop, where the bunch has been already prepared, tied with the four-part green-golden fillet and the golden sign on it.

At the cemetery I was taken by surprise, because everything has been covered with a thick snow-cover, although there was thawing all around in the last hours. Simply told,  I wasn´t able to find out Andrea´s tomb.

About half an hour I vainly went to and from. Like last year, there was nobody in sight. I asked the gravediggers, but they weren´t able to help me. Then I went to the cemetery office, where (to my surprise) Andrea isn't in the list of decedents at all !!  The officer ask me for the name of the tomb-owner, which I didn´t know exactly. We tried sister Lucie, which was right. I got the grave's number and returned to the gravediggers. After a while we found it finally. I had to ask one of them for throwing off the major part of snow with his shovel. Then they left me and I cleaned up the rest of snow to the nines.

When the gravestone was clean,   I put down the bouquet and both laminated pictures, weighted them down with the candles and lit the candle. I took some photos as you will see. Then I stood in quietness, whispering the prayer for Andrea´s soul. I told to myself: "I believe you are an angel in the heaven" This painful destiny still gets me down and probably will never stop to act this way. Indeed. I can´t imagine pain of the parents."

Postscript "Last few hours the weather turned into frost and now the snow is falling densely again.  I´m afraid that the gravestone will be snowed up quickly!  By the way, yesterday I caught a cold when I was wading in the snow. But it´s all in the hands of destiny. Perhaps today someone else is going to visit the grave and will clean it up again."

The "Ribbon" words of dedication on the remembrance bouquet of flowers reads in full:-

"Remembering Lea (Andrea) - from Victor, Michael, Pavel, her fans and admirers everywhere. Dec 2010"

Thanks again so much to Marek (from Poland) and Pavel (Czech Republic) for their kindness in visiting Lea/Andrea at her final resting-place in remembrance to say quietly a few words to her spirit, on behalf of us all, that we will remember and think of her forever.

Nice fotos. You all together really managed to set the grave in a very tasteful frame in spite of the difficult meteorological conditions. Although I am reluctant to participate myself in this kind of actions I have much sympathy and respect for your efforts to keep up the memory of Lea in the "real" world.

Thanks and greetings to you all
Bernd

The Seventh Anniversary of Lea's passing away.

In less than 2 months, it will be the Seventh Anniversary of Lea's passing away in the Czech Republic on 9 December 2004.

Like we did last year by the kind help of Pavel, I would like to try to arrange for some flowers to be placed at the graveside in Dablice in early December 2011.  You'll recall Angostura from Poland also visited to pay his respects and place flowers there and he kindly sent us photos from Lea's resting place.

I would be very glad to hear from Pavel and Angostura, also Michael in the UK and anyone else who would like to join in, so that I can send a payment over as before, and we can have a nice bouquet of flowers on behalf of all of us for Lea.

I am also posting this above message on Lea's Site (Chris Danneffel).

Thanks, Vic. 16 Oct 2011 (UK).

Dear Friends,

Pavel has sent me a message tonight to say that he will be visiting Dablice in 2 days time (Thursday 8th December) for the "Seventh Anniversary" (Friday 9th December) of the passing away of Lea (Andrea) in order to pay his respects on behalf of us all.  Marek kindly visited there not long ago too and left lovely flowers.

Pavel is ordering a bouquet of flowers for the graveside with an inscription ribbon.  I hope that we will receive some photos. This year, perhaps it will be kinder weather, as last time it was very cold and Pavel had to struggle to find the location with the blanket of snow on the ground and then afterwards, he caught a cold!

I don't know what the weather is like in the Czech Republic at the moment but here in the UK, we had a very mild November with quite a lot of sunshine. It's a bit colder now especially at night but not too bad generally.

Regards, Vic (UK).  7th December 2011.

You may spot this wallpaper (based on Chris Danneffel's beautiful photo of Lea taken in Prague in September 2003) laying on the marble stone amongst the flowers kindly placed there by Pavel on Thursday (8th December 2011)...

Thank you again, Pavel and Michael for making this further tribute possible and also thank you so much to Marek who kindly visited the graveside last month, likewise Adam who kept us so well informed from the early days about Dablice.

Rest in peace Andrea!  How one can forget ...what a cruel destiny ....just as you were changing your life .....what a suffering during your illnes ...you had all your life in front of you ....but the death struck you down mockingly....

I hope you can dive in the eternal ocean love  of God.

Dear Pavel,

Please see attached my "Seventh Anniversary" wallpaper.

It's a simple one but the photo says it all.  This is my favourite of Chris's informal pictures taken of Lea in September 2003 in Prague.

Should you be at Dablice again, please could you place a laminated print of this wallpaper there.  I will of course be happy to send a donation towards the flowers, etc. as last time.

With best wishes and thanks,
