To be honest, I don't know what the difference is between the original and "Collector's Edition", although in my collection I have two versions of this title:
a) 2 x DVD 5, DVD 1: 9 scenes (same as above), DVD 2: 12 scenes plus some additional photos from various Private magazine.
b) 1 x DVD 9: 9 scenes, PC-compatible with additional materials including screensavers, wallpapers. I presume this is missing the second DVD and would probably be the "Collector's Edition" as it has the capacity for a lot more additional material.

There are several other DVD versions of Silvia's movies on that thread, including "My Plaything", "The Academy" and "Euro Domination 3", so it's well worth checking out if you don't already have these.

P.S. Before anyone asks, the answer is no, I can't upload the DVDs to a faster download service. I don't have space for it if nothing else. Anyway, Keep2Share is a decent enough file sharing site. Yes it's slow, but it allows you to resume a failed download if you are using a decent download manager (I recommend JDownloader2).
I don't know the difference either, but spike's theory "DVD9 = collector's edition" sounds plausible when reading some front and back covers.

From what Bernd says, and judging by the size of the torrent files, I guess that what I assumed was DVD 5 was actually DVD 9 but below DVD 5 capacity. In fact it's exactly what I already have, but clearly labelled as DVD Dual Layer on the packaging.
The single DVD 9 I have is therefore probably the single disk Collectors Edition. I have also now discovered this has an extra "Easter egg" scene hidden in the Production Notes:
From main menu, select Production Notes.
Navigate to Scene 9, Silvia in Brazil 2.
Highlight the right arrow next to Menu (hover with mouse, or right cursor key), but don't click or press select.
Press the up arrow key on your keyboard or remote.
Hey presto, it opens up an Extra Scene: Doctors from Xtreme Desires.

I remmeber to see on Privete web, before the DVD appears, an articule of Silvia thas was a CD-ROM, with a pic of Silvia when lencery blue like in some pics from Italian Legacy (shes use that clothes just for set of pictures, not for the movie). ¿Does any body knows somehting? or maybe I am wrong (It was 20 years ago). http://pornolab.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1396320 is a bit confusing. Allegedly this should be disk 2 of a DVD9 Collector's Edition, but the cover does not contain any hint on Collector's Edition. I assume that the uploader used a wrong cover from the internet and it is just the same as spike's DVD9 Collector's Edition disk, because it contains the "Nurses In Heat" scene with Laura Angel as well, without listing it in the scenes menu. Still I wonder why the uploader should think that there were 2 DVDs if he bought only one.
The easter egg that spike described did not work for me. Maybe a problem with my VLC Player. But I had found the additional scene before while I ran through the VOB files.
The text on http://pornolab.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=981805 is inconsistent as well. The title contains "DVD9", but later a "DVD5 x 2 disk set" is described.
My Russian is a little rusty, so the Pornolab info didn't make much sense to me either. Have you actually downloaded the torrent content to see what it contains? I concluded it was actually the 2 x DVD 5 version I already had, so didn't bother to finish the download.
The Easter egg worked for me in VLC 3.0.16 "Vetinari" on Windows 10 using the single-disk DVD9 version I have. As you say you can rip it from the VOB anyway, but where is the fun in that?
I downloaded both. 981805 is really a 2 disk version, 1396320 one disk. I mentioned the inconsistency in 981805 only for showing that not all information we found about this is reliable.
I have VLC 3.08, maybe this is the reason that your procedure does not work for me. How did you detect the Easter egg? I am no expert when it comes to DVDs.
How do I know the difference between DVD5 and DVD9, if I have downloaded only a disk image smaller than DVD5 capacity? Is there code in some info file to read out this information?
This works on the single disk DVD9 version but not on disc 1 of the 2 disk version I have. They also mention a second Easter egg on disk 2, which implies there's a 2nd disc missing from the DVD9 version that I have.
AFIK there's no way of telling if the source of a ripped DVD is DVD5 or DVD9 if the content is less than 4.7 GB. Why they would use a double layer DVD when a single layer would be sufficient may be down to their authoring and manufacturing processes using DVD9 as standard. Or they may just be labelled incorrectly on the packaging.

According to JaLe from the adultdvdtalk forum the production notes were on disk 1 of the DVD9, so that "disk 2" that I downloaded from http://pornolab.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1396320 actually must have been disk 1. It would not have made sense to put the main film on disk 2. Probably the content of the two disk collector's edition is essentially the same as on the two disk DVD5 version, only on DVD9 disks with Easter eggs, maybe in higher resolution and with some pictures and trailers, but without new video footage.
The resolution is fixed by the PAL or NTSC specifications whether or not it is DVD5 or DVD9, so the extra capacity on the DVD9 will be used for additional material, i.e. Easter eggs, photo galleries, trailers etc. But no new scenes other than the Easter eggs.
It would be great if anyone could find a DVD9 version of disk 2 with Easter egg.

I guess you are referring to the blue lingerie Silvia was wearing in the beautiful photo below, but I don't remember the existence of any SVCD.
