MADRID. Nacho Vidal, known as 'The King of porn', had suffered at Mexico one of the worst moments of his career. Arrested with other four actresses, he was jailed in DF for almost two days with common prisioners.
As often, Nacho Vidal was invited to an Erotic Cinema Festival which, as new feature, was the first time to take place at Mexico. In this kind of events the stars doesn't earn anything, but flights, expense allowance, five-star hotel, driver and security personal, are paid by the organizers. At Barcelona, Las Vegas or Berlin the public are win over the same way.
Arrested illegally without charges
However, the american adventure was different this time. On leaving the Festival, after sign autographs and meet the press, Nacho Vidal and other four actresses - an hungarian (artistic name "Rita Faltoyano"), a french ("Katsumi") and the czechs "Claudia Claire" and "Jane Darling"- were arrested by the Inmigration department. "They asked us for our passports and began a questioning without sense for more than 8 hours, asking me about the title of my book or how much it costs" - Vidal told us - "The charges were ridiculous, something like I'd signed autographs and taken photos with fans. Since when is that ilegal?".
According to the actor from Mataro (note: his hometown in Spain) and sources from his producer, the real reasons were different ones. It seems that last February another festival was held, organized by mexican producers, to which assisted 80.000 people. This one, however, it's a spanish festival which for the very first time took place at Mexico and with more success. "There are interests behind this, just envy and numbers. They'd kidnapped us trying to close the festival, but the people responded well and assisted in more numbers, chanting our names".
Jailed with common prisioners
Then and after they were registered, the five actors were jailed together with common prisioners in Mexico DF jail. "Just imagine, the worst of the city. It was like a bad dream. People sleeping on the floor, ****ting there, the worst place in which I've been in my ****ing life" - says the actor. "Rita, one of the girls, when she realized where she was going, hurted herself a hand against a wall, consequence of her foul temper. Now she needs surgery. All was incredible".
"The first night three cubans tried to steal the training shoes from me" - continues - "I confronted them and it was just as well that, in 1200 people, a narco recognized me: "Didn't you recognize him?, he is the king of porno". Nacho, luckily for his security, had shown in a mexican night TV show, seen by more than 50 millions, in which he took off the presenter's trousers.
Unprotected by the Spanish Embassy
Vidal assures feeling unprotected as citizen. The Spanish Embassy "only did phone calls" - assures-. "The ambassador told me not to worry, that they had allowed them 17 hours to release us, but we were already there for 48".
The actor's producer have begun legal actions against the mexican officials implicated. "Psichologically, I was exhausted" - assures-. "Two days without a single meal nor sleep and I flung myself. The human being has a limit and I exceeded it 24 hours ago".

Another one: Nikki Anderson ... but there are a lot of them And now that you've mentioned Rita Faltoyano, I've read in a Spanish newspaper that she had been held in prison at Mexico for two days, with French Katsumi, Czech Claudia Claire and Jane Darling and Nacho Vidal. They were invited to a Erotic Festival and as Nacho said they were treated badly. Rita broke a hand in an incident and now she needs surgery. It seems that some people wanted to cause damage to this Erotic Festival (Spanish one) in favour of a Mexican one, the first one had far more success than the later. Regards from Spain, Jose.

Dear Jose,
I am shocked to hear what happened to Rita and lovely Katsumi (the oriental Silvia Saint) and the others. Dreadful. I will check out Rita's Site to see if there is more news on this and I will get back to you.
I wonder, can you scan the Spanish newspaper in and send it to me please?
Regards, Vic. 2-8-2004
PS. Rita's Site is at www.faltoyano.com I used to visit there and helped Rita's team in the past with movie lists, corrections, etc. I will check it out now.

Dear Jose and Members of this Forum,
I have checked out the Spanish newspaper story about Nacho Vidal, Rita Faltoyano, Katsumi and the other stars who were mistreated in Mexico in what seems an outrage.
If this had happened in olden days, I can think of one country that might have declared war on Mexico for insulting their ambassador.
I have entered your message and the Spanish Web reference on Rita's Official Forum (which is part of www.faltoyano.com - a free part to use) and I have also e-mailed Omar privately, who I think is a Mexican member of Rita's Forum.
I tried entering the text of the Spanish newspaper into a Web Translator, which gave a few indications of what happened.
When you have a moment, you might send in a translation for us all. I have also notified Evil Angel (whom Nacho works with) and various USA and other international fans of Rita's.
It is a disgrace and hopefully, Rita and Katsumi and all of the others will be able to put it out of their minds one day - but it must have been a terrible shock to them to be thrown into prison and treated like common criminals. It sounds like very bad organisation by the parties involved and the trusting movie stars anxious to please their fans have been severely abused.

Thanks for your information. I hope that someone will be able to translate the story about Nacho Vidal and the movie stars which I posted here after Jose sent me the reference from the Spanish newspaper.
It is a truly terrible incident.
It sounds as if the organisation and pre-planning was seriously inadequate, although I wonder why a work permit is needed to make a personal visit to a Show - but perhaps, it was a contract with financial terms.
Here in the UK, there have been thousands of illegal workers - they have had very little bother of late from the authorities and they are living here not just visiting for a day.
On the 13th July, Silvia Saint was here for a one-day photo assignment with "Arena" magazine and I met her at London Airport afterwards but this was more privately conducted. It sounds as if the Mexican Show was a large and advertised public event ?
It all seems very strange what happened in Mexico - almost as if some rival company might have had a hand in some "dirty tricks" ?
I do hope that Rita, Katsumi and the other girls are not too distressed still but it must have been a horrible experience, not to mention unwelcome.
It seems the stars were kept as prisoners for two days in jail - perhaps Rita broke her hand trying to remonstrate with the Mexican Police. Of course, what with the language barrier, this must have made things even worse. I am not quite sure which country Nacho Vidal comes from ? (possibly Hungary). Nacho works a lot with Buttman's company "THE EVIL EMPIRE" (Evil Angel, Rocco Siffredi, Jules Jordan, John Leslie, etc.) and I have e-mailed the information to Tricia Devereaux in California, USA (Buttman's girlfriend or wife).
Hoping that the stars manage to put this incident behind them.
I'm Mexican, and I wasnt aware that Rita will come to our country, otherwise I would have been there... front row. Anyway, the situation was awful for 8 porn stars (menctioned in previous posts) that were arrested since they didnt had work permits. According to different sources, all of them were interrogated an spent an undisclosed amount of time in jail. Nacho Vidal stated that Rita INJURED HERSELF (hand) while struggling with police. The 8 porn stars were deported and their production house paid for their plane tickets to their respective countries... Hopefully this is useful for you. I'll be glad to receive pictures and links to vids of Rita, since I trully love her... email me at julio.gil@gmail.com

It appears to me to be some kind of "dirty tricks" stunt. If so, I should like to see any corrupt Mexico-based businessmen and/or officials prosecuted for improper conduct, conspiracy and/or corruption, as the case may be, when the truth is discovered.
Please see below an e-mail I sent out yesterday to Rita's Belgium Movie Producers, Dennis Black Magic, Rita's Web Site Team in Budapest, Evil Angel Studio, California, USA and others, including popular moviestar Steve Holmes, Dick Miller (Film Producer based in Prague), Silvia Saint and her Team in Prague & Slovakia.
I (and I am sure others all around the civilised world) would also be prepared to make a contribution to fight the Mexico case in court to punish and bring to justice those who insulted and falsely imprisoned our famous and much-loved movie stars in vile conditions in a lice-infested filthy jailhouse. We should bear in mind that the stars visited that country out of kindness to please local fans there without charging a fee.
Those Mexican fans attending the Show are no doubt totally disgusted with the dubious and highly suspicious actions of those responsible who plotted this trumped-up outrage!

DENNIS BLACK MAGIC, Film Producers, (for Rita Faltoyano and other stars) Belgium.
Dear Dennis,
I don't know if you have heard of the horrible events that took place in Mexico. It is reported that Hungarian moviestar Rita Faltoyano, French star Katsumi, Spanish star Nacho Vidal and two young Czech movie actresses were mistreated, detained in a lice-ridden filthy prison on false pretences without proper clothes or food and Rita broke her hand remonstrating with the officials. It's dreadful - but it definitely sounds like a "dirty tricks" stunt to me. Could it be from a rival organiser perhaps?
I hope some legal proceedings are taken over this as it could have happened to any male or female star (Rocco Siffredi, Steve Holmes, Michelle Wild, Julia Taylor, Dora Venter, Jenna Jameson, Jill Kelly, Silvia Saint, etc.) good enough to visit with their fans at a Show, such as in the USA, France, Spain, London, etc. and I would be prepared to send a donation to fight that case. I am sure "Private" and "Evil Angel" stars would be happy to know something is being done to protect them in the future from this kind of outrage, whether in Mexico or elsewhere and I am sure that many USA fans would wish to support any such legal action.
I would have thought that Rita can claim extra compensation for loss of career earnings if her hand is broken apart from the shock and trauma suffered by all of the stars, as is quite evident from Nacho Vidal's account published by the Spanish press (translated below).
I seem to remember that Frank Sinatra's bodyguard once pushed someone out of the way at a Show in the USA and Frank got sued for about 1 million dollars for assault!
plus on the adultdvdtalk.com Site forum in the USA (see DexterDay's and other postings in two forums) News, Star Crossed, etc. and on the avn.com Site (report).

Hi Friends, how you guys doing? I Found some more information about Nacho Vidal and the other pornstars when they went to Mexico to a festival, please take a look!
CHATSWORTH, Calif. - The detainment and expulsion from Mexico of five European porn stars during the first Mexico Erotic Film Festival last week made headlines around the world.
AVN.com, in an exclusive interview with Festival organizers Salvador and Victor Diago, has learned details about the controversial incident not previously available to the press. The Diagos, father and son, own Spain’s International Film Group, a major European distributor and manufacturer. Salvador is president, Victor the director of production and marketing.
They flew to Los Angeles last Monday, just after holding a crowded press conference in Mexico City, to cement IFG’s new distribution deal with Smash Pictures.
After turning the Barcelona Erotic Film Festival into a major international event, they were hoping to do the same in Mexico City. The first day, Victor Diago said, started off great, with 10,000 paid attendees cheering the live show.
The main attraction was five European stars: Nacho Vidal (Spain), Katsumi (France), Rita Faltoyano (Hungary), Jane Darling and Claudia Clair (Czech Republic). Katsumi, the Diagos said, was a particular favorite. The crowds chanted her name like soccer fans: “Kat-Su-Mi, Kat-Su-Mi!”
On the second day of the show, officers from Mexico’s immigration department suddenly showed up and demanded the passports of the foreign performers.
The elder Diago went back to the hotel to retrieve them and when he returned was ordered to take them to immigration headquarters. He waited there for seven hours as the papers were examined. “Seven hours,” he exclaimed, “just to look at passports!”
At issue were the actors’ visas, which were stamped for Tourist, not Work. But, Diago maintained, they were not working in Mexico, they were visiting the country for promotional purposes. His arguments got him nowhere.
Meanwhile, his son was told that the five performers would be taken to a holding area for VIPs while their documents were being checked. Instead, he found out later, they were taken to the immigration jail where they placed in a detainment area. They would remain there for 27 hours.
According to Victor Diago, the four women had to sleep on the floor of a room packed with immigrants. (Vidal was put in the even more crowded men’s cell.)
The girls were wearing skimpy costumes—tank tops and bikini bottoms—from the show, “and it was cold in there,” Diago said. He was not allowed to bring them food or warm clothing. Faltoyano, who had injured her hand, was denied medical attention.
None of the women spoke Spanish, and their inability to find out why they were being detained had them naturally panicked, Diago said. “All night there was no communications, no lawyers, no clothes, no food.”
The elder Diago spent the day contacting lawyers in Spain and Mexico and Spanish embassy officials. He said they told him, “We’re going to help you, because this is illegal.”
By mid-day on Saturday 16 lawyers had shown up at the jail, but they were told that only one of them would be allowed to represent all five detainees. “That’s illegal, right?” said Diago.
When Victor was finally allowed to see the actors at the jail, he found the women in tears and Faltoyano nearly hysterical. “Nacho said, ‘Rita is going crazy, you got to help her.’ Claudia Clair said, ‘This is the worst experience of my life.” Katsumi, he said, was a bit more composed.
Finally, a “solution” was proposed to the elder Diago by the immigration authorities. It was threefold. The Diagos would pay a fine of $36,000 US; sign anything put in front of them; and get the actors out of Mexico immediately, acknowledging that it was not a deportation but a voluntary departure.
Then Salvador balked at signing a document that essentially indemnified the authorities and put all the blame on him, he was told that the actors would be held for 15 more days. According to him, “They said, ‘You sign here, here and here, or you’re not leaving.”
He signed. “In one hour,” Victor said, “everything was finished.”
The actors were not allowed to return to their hotel—Victor had to fetch their belongings. They were put in a van and taken to the airport where the Diagos put them on the first flights available to their respective countries.
The press had shown up at the airport in droves but were not allowed to speak to the stars, who, Victor said, “are very, very famous in Mexico.”
As all this was happening, Victor said, the Festival was still attracting crowds. He took to the stage on the last day to explain the absence of the Europorn favorites. Fans again chanted Katsumi’s name, along with anti-government slogans. “They were very, very angry with the government,” Victor said.
The Diagos pointed out that their problems were only with the immigration authorities and that they are on good terms with the Mexican government in general. They have their own theories about why the incident occurred but preferred not to discuss them on the record.
Despite the hassle, and the considerable amount of money they had to shell out in fines, lawyers fees and added transportation costs, the Diagos pronounced the Festival a success. They plan to return to Mexico, where IFG does a high volume of sales, for a second event next year.
I understand that Rita injured or broke her hand in the horrible and stressful incident and not speaking the language must have made things even worse and more terrifying for the Czech and Hungarian actresses.
The Authorities realised this, prevented access to the terrified stars (who were taken away from the Show without being allowed to change into normal clothes) and seem to have taken some kind of mischievous delight in all this.
Indeed, I strongly suspect this was all deliberately stirred up. The detention and treatment of the stars without access to interested parties, interpreters and individual lawyers in filthy conditions was an outrage.
The Mexican Government also seems to have threatened and "blackmailed" the Show's organisers - not to mention the extortion of large sums of money by threats of further (illegal) detentions and actions. Heads should roll!
I strongly suspect "dirty tricks" here - I wonder could it be that a rival business interest plotted to cause all this and even bribed corrupt officers to perpetrate this outrage on our famous stars - who of course were not employees in Mexico but were merely making a personal visit to the Show to meet fans, etc.
There might be a tour of 5 stars arranged by a Studio visiting 10 countries - it is ridiculous to say that the stars have 10 contracts of employment with each country i.e. 50 contracts in all. The stars are just guests of honour at the Show appearing without receiving salaries from any local employers. Even if this were not the case, have you ever heard of such inhumane treatment tantamount to degrading treatment (both mental and physical ) by the Mexican Government, if not mental torture.
As a result of the unlawful treatment suffered by the stars, the whole movie community worldwide should blacklist Mexico until the guilty Government officers concerned and others in the background, who plotted all this, are punished and brought to justice. The Mexican Government officers ought to be brought to trial for Breach of Human Rights, Illegality, Blackmail and Extortion.
