VictorandSS, I forgot to answer your question about the castle. It's the Hradschin. And yes, it's used for government purposes.
It's the residence of the Czech president (Vaclav Klaus at the moment).

Regarding Monica, I think Prague is less dangerous for a young girl than the porn businesssmile.gif

Greetings
Bernd

This is from the Web:

Prague Castle (Czech: Praský hrad) is a castle in Prague where the Czech kings, Holy Roman Emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic have had their offices. The Czech Crown Jewels are kept here. Prague Castle is one of the biggest castles in the world (according to Guinness Book of Records the biggest ancient castle [1]) at about 570 meters in length and an average of about 130 meters wide. Picture to follow.

It's a fine picture, thank you. Just at the tables in front of Lea's right breast I was sitting and drinking a lemonade. Never I had thought that I would come her so close.smile.gif

Concerning Katja: As I wrote, she is still active sometimes on the adultdvd-forum. So, if you have a question, ask it there. For the other two, don't expect too much. Better look out for new porn stars. I think, many of the former pornstars of yesterday don't want to talk about it now after their career (e.g. Daniella Rush), so eventually you will lose contact anyway.

http://www.lastfm.de/search?q=Castle&m=tracks gives about 17000 titles with castle, so choosing one is really difficult.

Greetings
Bernd

Thanks very much for writing back.

I believe that at last I have got the correct Castle in this night scene and notice that Lea and her best friend Monica are also there happy and enjoying the beautiful view and were good enough to pose for this creation!

Visit to Prague Castle

The Prague Castle, an ancient symbol of the Czech lands, is the most significant Czech monument and one of the most important cultural institutions in the Czech Republic.

The Prague Castle was most likely founded in around 880 by Prince Boivoj of the Premyslid Dynasty (Pemyslovci). According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Prague Castle is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m˛. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it consists of a large-scale composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from Roman-style buildings from the 10th century through Gothic modifications in the 14th century. The famous Slovenian architect Josip Plenik was responsible for extensive renovations in the time of the First Republic (1918-1938). The Prague informal photo taken by Chris Danneffel incorporated into the above wallpaper is one of my favourites, along with the "beauty" photo (where Lea is looking sideways).

There is something magical about this "between the trees" photo. For the purposes of the wallpaper, I have removed the trees.

Lea looks slightly apprehensive as if her fate was being laid out before her. Lea is wearing very little make-up and perhaps never looked lovelier in these various informal photos (compare them with the last "Hustler" photos in the garage repairs depot where Lea is heavily made-up).

How lucky we are that Chris Danneffel contacted Lea. You may remember Chris wrote that on one shoot, Lea had just come back from recording her informal interview for "Private" (for "The Private Life of Lea De Mae" double Dvd set). Chris mentioned that at the time, he did not realise how famous Lea was!  Chris added that Lea did not charge for usual modelling fees.

That favour was more than returned by Chris when Lea became ill the following summer, as we know from the Web site vigils and medical logs published by Chris, who moved from Germany to be at Lea's hospital bedside and to give support to her sister, Lucie.

With these lovely photos taken by Chris, Lea will always be in our hearts and we will never be alone.

BOHEMIA

Whichever of the towns of eské Budjovice, Jindichv Hradec, Písek, Strakonice, Tábor or Tebo you may visit, every time you get to the places where art and history come to life. Awaiting the visitors to the Czech South is a number of robust mediaeval strongholds and refined chateaus.

The most frequently visited ones include the chateau in Hluboká nad Vltavou with the nearby hunting-lodge and zoological garden Ohrada, the castle Zvíkov and chateau Orlík at the Orlická dam, the chateau ervená Lhota or water castle Blatná. Its place among the enumeration of the sights has also Holaovice, a village with the estates in the style of the peasant Baroque, inscribed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

The south-Bohemian rivers of Vltava, Otava and Lunice are the Eden of the boating men, the most beautiful parts of the nature include the biospheric preserves of the Area of Tebo, the natural park of the Czech Canada, the Novohradské hory (Mountains) and a number of peat-bogs.

Romantic South Bohemia

South Bohemia is a land of  lakes and rivers, castles and chateaux, picturesque town reseves, with the mountain range of Sumava (Bohemian Forest) on the border with Germany and Austria. The poetic landscape of this region makes every trip to South Bohemia unforgettable.

Points of interest: Hluboka nad Vltavou (140 km from Prague):
A chateau in the Windsor Gothic style with representative interiors and landscape park.

Tyn Church

On television over here tonight Sunday 21 June 2009, just started at 9pm (21.00) is the film "xXx" on Channel 5 and duration 2 hours - 20 minutes and described as a "High-octane action thriller in which an extreme sports junkie is blackmailed by the CIA into taking on a highly dangerous mission to Prague in order to thwart the nefarious plans of a group of Russian extremists."

Director: Rob Cohen
Starring: Vin Diesel, Asia Argento, Marton Csokas, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Roof, Richy Müller

and the movie's opening shots (night scene) include the TYN Catholic Church in the Old Town Square, where Bernd had a lemonade and Tomca visited.

From http://www.pragueexperience.com/places.asp?PlaceID=595

The Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, or Tyn Church, (Týnský Chrám) dominates one side of the Old Town Square. The two spires of this powerful looking Gothic church (with a Baroque interior) can be seen from all over Prague.

Tyn Church was founded in 1385, a tumultuous period when Hussites were being slaughtered by the ruling Roman Catholics. Indeed, in time Catholic Jesuits took over the church, recasting the bell and replacing the Hussites symbolic chalice with a large figure of Mary nailed between the towers.

Tyn Church is impressive by day, striking by night, lit up against the dark night sky. Take a close look at the two spires. They are not symmetrical. This is characteristic of the gothic architecture of the time and is a representation of both the masculine and feminine sides of the world.

Forgive me for writing about these places  - I am not much of a traveller, so photos are all I am ever going to have.

Almost 5 years...

In twenty-four days time (9th December 2009), it will be 5 years since lovely Lea De Mae (Andrea) left this world.

Everyday I see Lea's photo next to my bed smiling down at me and remember this brave young lady (then 27 years of age) and "very sports girl" (as she described herself).

Although I never met Lea, I believe that she did know of me from the efforts we made to support the Medical Fund set up by her manager, Mr Widman and also from Silvia when she visited Lea a few months before she passed away.

Monica Sweetheart (Lea's best friend) also wrote to me after Mr Widman gave me her e-mail contact address when he was in London in Winter 2004 and as you know, Monica later very kindly provided us with a special Interview, which is posted up in a nearby topic. Monica also gave me permission to post up some of her personal photos taken with Lea, Daniella, Sue Diamond and others from their travels when shooting for various productions. Monica also kindly granted access to her USA-run Web site via her Webmaster so I could post up a few pictures on this forum.

To the "Dream Team"  - thank you for the memories.

On the UK's "X FACTOR" popular Saturday night ITV Show, the finalists presented their Xmas charity song with all proceeds going to the well-known Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children with leukaemia, etc.

The song chosen was "You Are Not Alone" made famous by the late Michael Jackson (including the music video with a naked Lisa Presley!  - God knows what Elvis would have said about that!).

Michael's video (later version) of the song can be seen at:

From the Web:
Commercially, the song was a significant success. It holds a Guinness World Record as the first song in the 37 year history of the Billboard Hot 100 to debut at number one; it was later certified platinum by the RIAA.

Dear Friends,

The Fifth Anniversary

In one week's time, it will be the fifth anniversary of the passing away of lovely Lea De Mae, member of the Czech "Dream Team" and compatriot of Silvia Saint, Daniella Rush and Monica Sweetheart and the friend of Slovak star Sue Diamond and I expect also charming Sandra Russo (who, as you may recall, received the lustful attentions of Frank Thring in "The Academy"!).

I have written to Martin B. as he mentioned that he was due to see Sue Diamond soon - in the hope that Sue might say a few words on this fifth anniversary. I have also written to some members of Chris's site and hope that they will see this topic.  However, I found that some of the old e-mails addresses are not working now including Juhani's in Canada.

Postings on Chris's Site for Lea can be made at:
http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=39098&p=1

I recall that registering is a bit complicated but if you persevere it finally works.

Thanks, Vic.  2 Dec '09.
