Another update to an excellent Suze Randall set from Men Only Vol 63 Iss 4, Apr 1998:
Full page scans stitched together into double-page spreads, including centrefold:
page01-02
page03-04
page05-06
page07-08
Individual cropped images:
001
002
003
004
005
006
007
008
009
010
011
012
013
Again I have filled in insets and logos with synthetic backgrounds in 001 and 013. I hope you like the results.
I was also surprised to find that the majority of these photos are new to the catalogue: it appears this issue of Men Only hasn't been scanned before. Some are the same image as existing photos, but cropped differently and without "Soxphotos" logos. Some are very close to existing catalogue photos, but with subtle differences. But the rest are new to the catalogue.
Here is my summary:
001 == set375_068 (cropped, no logo) 002 == new 003 == new (similar to set375_054/092) 004 == set375_086 (cropped, no logo) 005 == new 006 == new (similar to set375_018) 007 == new (similar to set375_131) 008 == new 009 == new 010 == set375_133 (cropped, no logo) 011 == new 012 == new 013 == set375_145 (cropped, no logo)
The non-new photos could be considered upgrades to the existing photos, or perhaps treated as variants due to the different cropping. I'll let Venizelos decide what is best.
These aren't my original scans, but I believe they come from the October 2004 issue of "Leg Show" magazine:
This original scans include a really poor scan of the double page spread of the last two pages:
I thought it would be worthwhile trying to improve this a little, as well as attempting to remove the insets from the individual photos extracted from the full page scans.
Here are the full page scans with the updated double-page spread for pages 06-07:

Here are the individual photos, with cut-outs and text replaced with some artificial backgrounds where applicable (003, 004, 007, 010, 013 & 015).

Hopefully some of these are decent enough to replace the original cut-out versions in the catalogue?
This set is pretty high in my list of favourite sets, but the original full page scan (not mine) has always been disappointing because of the ugly page join.
So I have tried to clean it up a little:
Before
After
Additionally, I thought it might be worthwhile extracting the individual images. Unfortunately there is a lot of overlap between them, which might explain why this hasn't been done before, so I've tried my best to separate them from each other and to fill in the gaps.
It was quite time-consuming, but I hope the results might be worth adding to the catalogue as new individual images:
p01-a
p01-b
p01-c
p01-d
p02-a
p02-b
All images are downloadable as a zip file from the PixHost gallery here:
There's another photo in this set that has been clumsily cut out of another magazine scan and looks pretty naff, so I've attempted to give it an artificial background to make it more like the other photos in the set.

Following on from my attempt to "uncensor" the photo Venizelos found for Set778, I revisited the rather poor scans of this set that I have in my collection to try to breathe some new life into them.
Here are the original scans (not mine):
As you'll see there are large chunks missing at the page fold line, the images are skewed relative to each other, and there is some light bleeding at the top of some of the pages. Pretty poor, really.
Using some artistic licence, I have attempted to fix these issues and I hope the results speak for themselves:
Additionally, I have attempted to cut out all the individual images and recreate backgrounds to fill in the various cut-outs and overlaps:

If these are considered adequate restorations, we have some enhancements and additional images to add to the catalogue, namely:

This is a "Buy One Get One Free" offer. Two nearly identical sets of scans from two different magazines for this set.
None of these my own scans, but I found some good quality magazine page scans in my collection, so I decided to restore both of these sets to their full glory.
You will notice a difference in colour balance between the two sets, but I decided to keep them different as it gives each set it's own distinct charm.
There are no new photos for the catalogue, but I'll leave it up to Venizelos to decide if any of these my restored photos are worth replacing the existing catalogue photos.
1) Mayfair Vol 37 Iss 9, Sep 2002
This is another of my efforts to restore some scans from Mayfair magazine, September 2002.
Firstly the magazine page scans, including the excellent cover photo. As usual I have joined the individual page scans into double page spreads:
page00
page15
page16-17
page18-19
page20-21
page22-23
Secondly, restored versions of the individual photos, removing text and replacing inset photos with new background where necessary:
002
003
004
005
006
007
008
009
010

012
013
014
015
016
017
018
019
020
021
Thirdly, I have decided to use a little bit of artistic licence, hopefully to improve some of the overly-cropped photos by adding synthetic backgrounds. I've also attempted to remove the text from the cover photo and add a synthetic background (001x). This was quite challenging, but I think it was worth it:
001x
002x
018x
021x
All the above photos, including unrestored versions of the individual photos, are available for download from the PixHost gallery here:https://pixhost.to/gallery/cmUds
2) Just Girls Vol 12 Iss 6, Jun 2003
This is a nearly identical set from another magazine in the Paul Raymond stable from the UK from a few months after the Mayfair issue.
I have given this set the same treatment as the Mayfair set, including extending some of the cropped photos to give them a more natural look.
Me sorprende la magnífica restauración de muchas imágenes, sin duda se aprecia la mejora que estás consiguiendo con el tiempo y se agradece que lo compartas en el foro.
Again someone else's scans, but the missing strip in the double-page photo on pages 58-59 was annoying me, so I thought I'd see if I could restore it:
Before
After
I have also attempted to improve this, and the other pages from this set, by removing some bad striping from the scans. Some are more successful than others, but overall think they are a decent effort.
Full page scans. I have recreated the double-page spreads as they appeared in the magazine:
There are no new images for the catalogue, but hopefully the restored 019 will be worth considering as an upgrade to set318_167, and maybe some of those with the striping reduced too.
I'll let Venizelos decide.

I found some poor quality scans of this magazine version of this Viv Thomas 3573 "With Enique" set made by "ruiScan". They are badly affected by Moiré-pattern effects and every photo marred with ruiScan's garish logo, but we still have to thank him for posting these online.
Here are the original scans:
Nevertheless, I thought it might be worth trying some filters in GIMP to try to improve the scans to something more aesthetically pleasing. This took a considerable amount of work, and the results are somewhat mixed success, but I think I've managed to at least breathe some new life into them:
page20-21
page22-23
page24-25
page26-27
page28-29
page30-31
I've also extracted all the individual images and adjusted the colour balance slightly to be closer to the original Viv Thomas 3573 "With Enique" set:
001
002
003
004
005
006

008
009

011
012
013
014
015
016
017
Several of these are actually new to the catalogue. See the Catalogue Fanatics thread for more detail.
Addendum:
I mistakenly omitted the full-page photo on page 23 from the collection of recoloured individual photos. Here it is:
018
I've labelled it 018 here, but it should be at position 006 according to its page position.

I'm taking a rest from cataloguing photos of Silvia's feet in the Catalogue Fanatics thread...
So I've finally found time to work on my own new scans of this nice set from Fiesta magazine, Vol. 40 Iss. 4, April 2006.
Unfortunately, Fiesta magazine is at the low-quality end of the UK adult magazine market, so the photo reproduction in the actual magazine isn't great and the scans are consequently a little bit blocky. I've tried various filters to improve them, but they invariably reduce the detail, so I've just left them as they came out of the scanner.
Anyway, here are the full pages from the scans with double-page spreads restored as per the magazine, so you'll have to rotate the centrefold to appreciate it fully!

Additionally, here are the individual photos extracted from the page scans. As usual, I've attempted to remove text and restore backgrounds for photos 001, 002, 010 and 012. This was quite challenging for the full-page photos from the cover (001) and page61 (002), but it's hopefully worth the effort.

In terms of the catalogue, we have 4 new photos. The new ones are 002, 007, 008 and 010, which I've highlighted in green above. The rest are reframed versions of existing catalogue photos.
I have done a bit of work on Adam's scans from the Russian magazine "Temptation" in his Catalogue Fanatics post.
I have attempted to give them the look and feel of the ViewPornstars set with deeper black and more crimson red. At the same time, I have also removed text from several of the full-page photos, which was a bit of a challenge for pages 18 and 20, and I've also reinstated the correct orientation for the photos that were mirrored.
Here are the results with before and after photos.
I have also included resized and adjusted photos from the existing catalogue to prove that these photos are indeed all new. Even the one I thought was an existing photo turns out to be slightly different when you flick between them.
So I'll say it again that all of these photos should be included in the catalogue in their own right!
