"BAAEED" the racehorse (a son of the great champion racehorse "Sea The Stars") won his 10th victory in the Juddmonte International race at York in England on Wednesday 17th August 2022.
The "best racehorse in the world" has now scored 10 wins in 10 runs since June of last year.
9 of his victories were over a distance of 1 mile (8 furlongs). The 10th race was over an extended distance of 10 furlongs.
Some experts feared that the extra distance might be a problem but Baaeed's run was better than ever as he won by a distance of 6½ lengths from the highly-rated horse Mishriff who was ridden by James Doyle. Jim Crowley was on Baaeed.
"Sea The Stars" (described as "a horse of a lifetime") won the famous "Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe" race (12 furlongs) in Longchamp, Paris on 4th October 2009.

Many people are now imploring Baaeed's owner (the daughter of a late Sheikh) to run him in the same famous race in Paris before his retirement for breeding purposes later this year - the same final race that his illustrious sire won 13 years ago.
